💥 He's only gone and smashed £4000!

Anthony Henson, an patient who has been diagnosed with incurable pancreatic and liver cancer, is raising funds for our service through Harrogate Hospital & Community Charity.

Anthony is tackling the Yorkshire Three Peaks, in separate walks, and has already climbed Pen-y-ghent. More news about the second walk to follow.

Fiona was encouraged to register with following a recommendation from a friend who reassured her that she would 'find like-minded people' who 'have been through similar experiences.'

Did you know that if you are over 18 and have had a cancer diagnosis in the area, a cancer-related hospital admission, or received chemotherapy, radiotherapy or immunotherapy within the last 12 months you are eligible to join our service?

👏🏼 An enormous thank you to the Nidderdale Messiah team, and especially to Jill Heyes for nominating as 's chosen charity for their 2025 performance.

We were really grateful to be presented with a cheque for a staggering £4800 and would like to thank everyone involved for their support. We were delighted to play a very small role in their 20th anniversary celebrations.

🍰 Is anyone else's mouth watering just looking at all those cakes?! A huge thank you to Sylvia & Lindsey from Friends of Active Against Cancer for another hugely successful Coffee & Bake this week, raising over £225 for our free NHS service., through Harrogate Hospital & Community Charity.

Their next fundraising event is the Pie & Pea Evening on Fri 27th Feb - put the date in your diary.

Thanks to everyone who supported our Coffee & Bake this morning. We raised a grand sum of £225.76 which all goes to AAC.
