I have always been aware of the impact of ‘stress’ on my physical and mental health, however, it wasn't until I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 2005 that I realised the extent to which stress had taken it’s toll. My journey in understanding wellness started around this time, and in 2012 my research lead me to the work of Dr Stuart Shanker and Self-Reg.
‘Shanker Self-Reg® is a powerful method for understanding stress and managing tension and energy flow in order to support mindful self-regulation.’
I am a facilitator for the Self-Reg method and this training provides the framework of my approach to educating people about the nature of stress, how to reduce it and how to manage it in healthy ways.
My background as an educator in London and the USA means I have a wealth of experienced teaching a range of audiences, providing thought provoking, interactive and helpful workshops and coaching sessions. I work with individuals and businesses, providing workplace wellbeing training and one to one coaching sessions.
