We are asking for a donation of £2 a person to keep our services going!!

What do we do? We run sensory based sessions for disabled adults (16+) and teens (11+) who have complex needs, Autism, Learning disabilities and PMLD.

Our CEO Grace, set us up in honour of her younger brother Oscar who has severe learning disabilities, Autism and complex needs. Grace is a trained and experienced SEND teacher who trained and worked in a school whose pupils have some of the most complex needs and behaviours in the country. As her brother got older Grace realised how little provision there is in the country for those with the most complex needs and behaviours after the individual completed school. In her research she found oftentimes Adults with complex needs had very little to do each day and many are left to stay home all day with very little to do which stimulates their brains.

This inspired her to set up Oscar's pathway. We provide a calming space with carefully planned activities to allow our service users to thrive and develop skills to help them to live the most fulfilling life possible.

Our beautiful Noah unfortunately passed away this morning.

Noah allowed me to be a mum and have the most amazing beautiful 9 weeks of my life. He taught me so much and was growing into such a cheeky young man. He was smiling, starting to laugh and playing. He was so clever in such a short time. He was my world. I spent every day and night with my perfect son. I would do anything to be kept up all night again.

I cannot believe what has happened and we will never forget our beautiful boy. He was perfect in every single way and I am completely lost. Having children is life’s biggest blessing. I truly felt like I had got everything I have ever wanted; an amazing husband and a beautiful family and baby. I was unsure if I would ever be able to conceive as I have issues with my ovaries so Noah was truly the biggest blessing and gift I could receive.

We will never be the same again.

Sleep tight my beautiful baby boy, I will never forget you and never stop loving you 💙

Please be patient with us - Grace (CEO)

Would any local landlords consider renting out a property to our charity?

This would be for our day centre for people with learning disabilities!

There are not many commercial properties around or suitable ones.

We are mainly looking for our own premises with outside space. We require something permanent all week and that we can keep our resources on site too.

Please share 💙

Thank you everyone for your help so far!

We love being based in Harrogate, however we are struggling to find a suitable building for our service users.

Everytime we find a building that may be suitable unfortunately most places start complaining about noise or behaviour.

People with learning disabilities and autism can make loud noises to communicate.

We are finding this difficult and wish more people in the local community were accepting of disabled people.

Everyone claims to be understanding until they are faced with challenging behaviour and people who struggle to communicate.

Our service users are so valuable and important to us and we want the local community to be more understanding.

If anyone knows of any buildings available that could be suitable please let us know!

Funding is also extremely difficult to secure due to growing demand for grants and cost of living crisis 💙
