🚨 Workplace Wellbeing in Action 💙

We’re proud to share the success of our Workplace Heart Health Clinic Programme delivered between September 2025 – March 2026!

✔️ 20 workplace clinics delivered
✔️ 178 employees supported
✔️ Early identification of key health risks including high blood pressure, elevated BMI, and cardiovascular risk

By bringing health checks directly into the workplace, we made it easier for employees to access vital screenings—no time off work, no barriers, just simple, supportive care.

Working alongside PocDoc and their handy point of care cholesterol tests meaning patients could access their results the same day

💬 “Convenient, informative, and easy” – just some of the feedback from participants who valued the opportunity to better understand their health.

This project didn’t just deliver numbers—it sparked conversations, increased awareness, and empowered people to make positive lifestyle changes.

Due to a nationwide shortage of the Meningitis B vaccine, we are currently out of stock.

💙 January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Cervical screening saves lives. It can detect changes early, often before symptoms appear.
If you’re due (or overdue) for your cervical screening test, now is the perfect time to book.

If you struggle to attend your smear appointment during normal practice hours, ask your GP surgery about booking into one of our extended access appointments, available evenings and weekends. These appointments are booked through your own surgery.

We’re inviting independent small and medium-sized businesses across North Yorkshire to take part in the Trailblazer Heart Health Check Programme, supported by North Yorkshire County Council.

We’ve already partnered with a number of local businesses — and the feedback has been fantastic. Just this week, we delivered clinics at Great Yorkshire Events Centre, where staff benefitted from quick, friendly and informative Heart Health Checks.

This initiative offers FREE Heart Health Checks for working adults aged 25–64 - but it’s a time-limited offer available only until March 2026.
It’s a great opportunity to help your team understand their heart health and take positive steps toward a healthier lifestyle.

🚗 IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTICE 🚧

Please be aware that this Saturday, 8th November, there will be a road closure sign at the entrance of Grove Park Terrace.

✅ Access to Grove Park Court will NOT be affected, and all appointments will go ahead as scheduled.

When arriving, you may be asked by a worker where you’re heading - simply let them know you have an appointment with us, and you’ll be granted access to our building.

🚫 Please note: Parking will not be available on Grove Park Terrace, but don’t worry - we have plenty of parking spaces directly outside our building for your convenience.

👩‍⚕️ Checking your breasts or chest regularly helps you learn what looks and feels normal for you.

🔍 This makes it easier to notice any changes that could be a sign of a condition such as breast cancer.

📅 When diagnosed at an early stage, 98% of women survive their breast cancer for 5 years or more.
Regular breast screening can find breast cancer before you notice any symptoms.
