🌟My Experience with Harrow Shopmobility 🌟 Hello everyone, I’m Tahmid—a student at Harrow College—and I’ve been lucky enough to volunteer with Harrow Shopmobility, a charity that has been helping the Harrow community for more than 30 years by making mobility accessible for everyone. Throughout my time here, I’ve gained practical experience in assisting people with mobility issues. I helped clients use and manage mobility scooters, supported daily operations, and took part in fundraising activities that keep this essential service alive. I also got to work with dedicated volunteers and staff who are genuinely passionate about making a difference. This experience has been extremely fulfilling. I’ve built strong communication and teamwork abilities, understood the significance of providing inclusive service, and witnessed how even small gestures of support can greatly enhance someone’s independence and self-esteem. Harrow Shopmobility doesn’t just offer equipment—it offers freedom, dignity, and a sense of community. I’m proud to have contributed to that mission and thankful for the chance to develop both personally and professionally.
