CAROL-THEMED CHRISTMAS 🎶🎀

𝘍𝘢-𝘭𝘢-𝘭𝘢-𝘭𝘢-𝘭𝘢… 𝘭𝘦𝘵’𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘬 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘳🎄✨

Our Carol-Themed Christmas initiative continues across our homes, celebrating the season through creativity, stories inspired by classic Christmas carols. Throughout December, Minster Care will donate £1 for every LIKE and £2 for every SHARE on our festive posts to support Age UK and Dementia UK, helping bring warmth, connection, and care to older adults and families across the UK.

🏔️CLIMBING FOR A CAUSE - Haslingden Hall Care Home - Amicura raises funds for Wigan and Leigh Deaf Children's Society

🤝 We are proud to share a heart-warming highlight from the recent fundraising efforts by Haslingden Hall, Rossendale. Our home team, with everyone's support, raised £2160 for the Wigan and Leigh Deaf Children's Society. This is a charity that extends support and opportunities for deaf children and their families.

🌄To honour the cause, our team took on the challenge of climbing Pendle Hill. Pendle Hill may not officially qualify as a mountain, but it is almost 80 feet tall. It was a rewarding and symbolic journey that brought our team together for a purpose greater than ourselves.

🌍 At Amicura, we believe in making a positive impact not just within our homes but also across the wider community. Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and championed this cause. Together, we are making a difference.

🛍️ Pre-Loved Evening Shop & Social

At The Glen Care Home, the Team is always exploring new ways to bring joy, purpose, and a little adventure into everyday life. And our latest idea was a huge success — a Pre-Loved Evening Shop & Social! 💡💛

Residents, families, and team members spent the evening browsing through beautiful, donated items. Everyone enjoyed choosing something that caught their eye… and having fun conversations along the way!

🍷🧀 Paired with a relaxed wine and cheese social

Our residents loved:
✨ Trying something new in their weekly routine
🛍️ Finding hidden treasures
💬 Chatting, laughing, and sharing stories behind favourite items
🤝 Feeling connected with visitors and each other

Brave Moments for a Great Cause 🌉✨

Team Members ,Megan and David from Kingsley took on the Highland Swing to raise money for the home’s activity fund

Neither of them is are fan of heights, but they soared from the Garry Bridge in Killiecrankie, a staggering 132 feet high 🌉 All for an amazing cause that will benefit our residents.

A huge well done to Megan and David for their courage, and a big thank you to everyone supporting our activity fund.
