Buchanan Court in Harrow is a purpose-built care home for older people that offers superb, person-centred care. The dedicated team provides a full range of high-quality care, including nursing, residential and specialist dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. Every aspect of life at Buchanan Court is tailored to residents’ individual needs and preferences, from the care the team provides, to the activities and outings residents enjoy and the delicious, fresh food served up by the chef-led team. Residents can choose which bedroom they would like, and they can personalise it however they wish. With a cinema, café, hair salon and a range of activities and outings to choose from, each day can be whatever residents want it to be.

This wonderful community event provided helpful hints and guidance through our Helpful Hand Guides, supporting meaningful discussions on staying connected and reducing loneliness.

Truly heartwarming as pupils from Roxeth Primary School visited our residents to celebrate Grandparents Day 💛
The children brought smiles, laughter, and handmade cards, filling our home with love and intergenerational connection. Our residents were delighted to share stories, reading books, and enjoying the company of these wonderful young visitors.

We’re thrilled to be part of VAA OpenSpaces2025 a global grassroots art movement transforming everyday spaces into platforms for contemporary art.
Thank you to our local artist and relative Ruth Breen is showcasing her powerful collection right here at Buchanan Court. Her work was part of a worldwide trail where artists exhibit in homes, gardens, libraries, and community spaces, redefining how and where art is experienced.
