From the moment Zuleika first joined her foster carers, her passion for football has been unmistakable. Watching her confidence and talent flourish over the years has been truly inspiring 👏 Now proudly playing for Dereham Town FC, we couldn’t be more delighted to support her journey through our player sponsorship! 🎉

This sponsorship is our way of celebrating her achievements and cheering her on as she continues to chase her goals — on and off the pitch. Stories like Zuleika’s remind us exactly why we do what we do: helping young people thrive and reach their full potential.

✨ Could you help a young parent and their baby build a brighter future together? ✨

Picture this: A 17-year-old mum learning to prepare her baby's first solid foods, gaining confidence with each small victory. That's the heart of Parent & Child fostering.

You're not just providing a home, you're becoming a mentor, guide, and cheerleader rolled into one. You'll be there for the 2 AM feeds, the first steps, the parenting wins and wobbles. Every day, you're helping a young family discover their strength.

At Nexus Fostering, we wrap you in 24/7 support, comprehensive training, and ongoing guidance. Because when you succeed, they succeed.

Ready to make a real difference? Two lives are waiting for your support.

We’re often asked: “How long will a child be staying with me?”

The truth is, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. When a child or young person enters foster care, the length of stay can still be uncertain.

Here’s a quick guide to the different types of fostering:

🧡 Emergency care – offering a safe place for a night or two
💚 Respite care – supporting a child for a weekend or a short break
💙 Short-term care – caring for a child for up to 2 years
💛 Long-term care – supporting a young person beyond 2 years or until they’re 18

🍁 Autumn’s here again — time to hunt for that missing glove, the other welly, and the scarf everyone swore was in the drawer last year.
It can feel a bit chaotic — coats everywhere, muddy shoes by the door — but for children, crunching through leaves and splashing in puddles are the moments they love most.

Sadly, not every child gets to enjoy those simple joys. At Nexus Fostering, we’re working to change that — helping more children feel safe, cared for, and free to enjoy the best parts of childhood.

If you’ve ever thought about fostering, get in touch to find out how you could make a difference.
