Because looked after children and young people come from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds we encourage applications from people who reflect this diversity so that we can place children within a loving home environment in which they feel they belong. You may be married or a co-habiting couple, with or without children, single, divorced people, or a single parent. You may own your home, or be renting. And you could be straight or gay, too.
To apply to become a foster carer with Nexus, you must offer a spare bedroom, be available throughout the day and ideally have experience of caring for children other than your own. It will be advantageous if you are a car driver with your own car.
