On Friday evening I had the absolute pleasure of attending homesweethome_sw Chemo Hero event!

I loved it! Meeting new faces and also seeing some familiar ones aswell! Offering Facial Reflexology and Swedish Massage with the odd Foot Massage!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the silence! I’ve just been taking a little minute to get myself into a good place!
End of last year I found out I was Coeliac and I was quite poorly!
Hair falling out, aching joints, skin sores, a tiredness that I’d never experienced before and my digestion was all over the place. This massively hit me mentally . Over the past 4 years my body and my head had been through a lot and it really hit me this year.

So I took a moment to re balance myself . I stepped away from the salon and have been enjoying a quieter time with my family and nourishing myself! Heal myself with a gentler routine and to attune to myself again.

This time has been so incredible- I feel in a place of knowing my body and my mind again.
My life feels in balance - and the change in diet has helped my hair to grow back and my body doesn’t feel like it’s in inflammation!

So after my rambling - just to say thank you to those who have checked in and continued to be patient! Iam taking bookings . But I work from my home in Hartland now and also offer mobile treatments within the local area !

Massaging sleepyowldevon is my favourite time of the week! I’m always blessed with wonderful clients and I’m starting to see people who are coming back for their 2nd or 3rd stay!
I got the pleasure of massaging a lovely couple who were celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary!

Both had a 75 minute treatment that focused on the back , neck and shoulder and then finished with some tension release around the face and scalp!

Hi Everyone.
Im posting with some different news today. As some of you may know Iv been really struggling with the balance at home and work and it’s taken its toll on my mentally and physically a lot this year.
Iv had quite a stressful January and with my recent Coeliac diagnosis- it’s been hard trying to find the rhythm and flow for myself. . So Iv decided to take a little break from pushing my own business for a moment. With 4 children and trying to work - it’s so hard .
So sadly I’m going to be coming away from the salon. I might return next year , but this is unclear at this moment in time.
I’m still going to be doing just 1 day at home on a Wednesday but between 10-2 and few mobile clients . So if these times suited you and you would be happy to come to Hartland then do feel free to message me. I’ll also be continuing at Sleepy Owl.
I want to be at home more with my smallest who’s growing very quickly.
I’ll still be honouring the massages booked through March. My last working day at Reductions will be the 18th.
I just want to thank all of you for your continued support and it hasn’t been an easy decision to come to. But right now I been to look after me before I can support others! ❤️

🌟🌟 D E E P T I S S U E 🌟🌟

This kind lady allowed me to post this picture - and I’m so glad she did! When I started massaging her both her shoulders were level.
But after some serious DEEP tissue and TRIGGER pointing - we managed to get them both down.

The shoulder on the right side is just from using certain techniques that help realise the tension and tightness that muscles can sometimes hold!

I finished this massage with some Lymph Drainage to help move away the toxins from this area to help keep it subtle!

🌟🌟 H A P P Y N E W Y E A R 🌟🌟
I hope everyone had a good one! We’ve all struggled with the reality of life and work this week! Those lazier morning felt like a good idea over the holiday season!

I’m back at the salon today. I do have a slight change in my working schedule at the salon.
As you’d have noticed iv not posted anything on here!! Iv just really struggled with the balance of family and work.
It’s taken its toll on me mentally . So moving forward for the next little while - I’ll only be working Tuesdays( from 1.30 -9) Reductions Clinic Salon.
My plan is to up my days later in the year - but so the time being while my smallest human is still at home - I want to be there with him to!

I’ll still be offering mobile and from home a various days.

BUT from next week you’ll officially be able to get Hot Stones 🎉

Thank you so so much to everyone who came along yesterday! It was incredible.
To watch friends reunite, float through the hall and just hear the general positive vibe. The smiles, the smells and the variety.

Thank you to all the hosts, the practitioners, stall holder , the cafe helpers and my super helpful kids!

I haven’t fully added everything up yet but it looks as though we raised over £1100 - which will be separated between the two charities .

Again I’m beyond proud of how the day came together and we will defiantly return next year!!

• Pumpkin Soup
• Mixed Bean and Sweet Potato Chilli
• Cauliflower , Squash and Lentil Curry

You’ll be able to eat these in the cafe area or take them away!

We will have a huge range of cakes plus coffee, tea and hot chocolate!
