To order your repeat medication we recommend using the NHS App. This is the easiest and most convenient way if you have the ability to use the technology.

We do offer the option of calling our prescription line on 01429890401 between 13:30 and 16:00 every afternoon. It gets really busy so you will need to be patient.

Information to take note of:
We cannot transfer calls from the main number so please dont call to ask. this only wasted your time and blocks the line for other patients calling about other things
The prescription line has no queue so you will need to keep trying.
We do have a box in the entrance to request your medication if you cant get through on the phone line.
If you have the ability please use the NHS APP - see the link below.

Our new phone system is now up and running. When you now call if you do end up in the queue it will give you the option to keep your place but it will call you back when you reach the front rather than you sit and wait. The choice is yours.
The system is new and we’re still getting to grips with it so please just bear with us if we have any issues.
We are aware that the voices with messages are a bit robotic and we will look to get these updated soon.

The numbers are still the same with the prescription line open from 1:30 to 4:00 every afternoon. The number is 890401. We can’t transfer you from the normal number so please don’t call to ask, you just blocking the lines for others. If you can’t get through please download the NHS App if you can, you can then order your prescription any time of the day or night!

On Thursday 5th March our phones will be upgraded to allow you to have the option for us to call you back rather than wait in the queue of calls whilst keeping your place in the queue. During this upgrade there may be some minor disruptions and challenges for us getting to grips with the new system. Please bear with us over the coming days whilst it’s fully implemented. Once fully functional and we get to grips with the new technology it should improve the experience when calling the surgery.

Friends and Family Results

We have recently gathered the data from our friends and family test which gets sent after your appointment.
The rating is from 1 to 5 with 5 being the best. Our overall score was 4.69 which is great but not everyone was happy.
Here are some of the nice comments but some answers to points raised also:
+Always feel listened to by both reception staff and GP, excellent surgery
+Dr Aggarwal was lovely - really helpful and reception staff were, as always, very professional
+So pleased Dr followed through on low readings in test and gave helpful
+Cannot fault the staff at the practice my appointment was with Mrs Elaine Awad and as always she is a caring thoughtful nurse always explains everything perfectly put you at ease all the staff are just brilliant at what they do.
+Not attended the practice for 6-7 years personally other than routine screening. Lots of changes but felt satisfied that I obtained routine bloods and reassurance from GP and Nurse Practioner.
+"Dr odutula has really helped me with my health. From the day I started having my appointments she has taken notice as I've been in alot of pain. And I've had an MRI scan so I feel secure in fact I am being helped through this. And I can speak to m doctor with confidence.
Millennium surgery had and helped me with my health from the first day I attended and appreciate them all so much. Even down to the receptionist who are brilliant "
+My appointment was with Kayleigh, as usual I was informed about all my options, very comfortable with everything. I didn't feel belittled or made to feel silly at all. Kayleigh is very friendly and always makes me feel comfortable to talk to her and give her all the information even if it's of a sensitive topic. My mum was also very happy with all of the information provided by Kayleigh and the options I was given, the fact the choice was mine was also very comforting. Thank you Kayleigh
+The nurse was unable to take my blood and I had to go to phlebotomy. I have very deep veins and don’t blame her. It would be easier to go straight to phlebotomy and save an appointment for someone else
+Seen dr Emmanuel he’s a lovely doctor always helpful and kind, Kyla is amazing at her job also very helpful always kind and caring, blonde nurse can’t remember her name done my babies injections very informative kind and caring always had a positive experience with her great surgery

Negative points and answers:

+You need to sort your doctors out some are so rude and unhelpful I am thinking of moving after all these years
This is a little disappointing to read and we would be happy to address any issues directly if you would like to contact the practice.

+ Everything good apart from the waiting time (15 minutes late)
Whilst everyone works hard to do their best and to keep to time we will inevitably run late at times due to complex patients whom may present with emergencies. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

+Appointment system needs to be sorted . I can never get in when I need to see a doctor , I have given up trying to make appointments . I wait till you contact me .
We are working really hard to meet the demands of patients and improve the systems to make it better but it isnt easy. We will continue to direct patients to other services such as pharmacies, the physios and other staff when appropriate to free up appointments with the GP when patients need them. this is why we ask what your problem is so we can help you.

+I was told that the doctor I requested to see was on annual leave, when attending my appointment I was surprised to see this was not the case at all ?
Im sorry for any confusion but due to sickness some GP's have had to cancel there annual leave to cover the sickness episodes to keep delivering appointments and not have to cancel them.

Overall we thank you all for the feedback and would ask you to continue to to complete the surveys you receive via text after your appointment.

Update:
We are still encountering problems with our telephone system and Engineers are looking into this.

Apologies but out phones are not working as they should and we are losing calls regularly. If it can wait we would suggest trying at a later time / day or if possible call into the surgery.

Please accept our apologies and we will post updates as we get them.
