Last week we had Sue Kearney from Furbd give her feature presentation.

Last week we had Colin Berry from Berry’s Kitchen giving his feature presentation.

The business was founded by Colin Berry, a professional chef with over 35 years of knowledge and experience within the catering industry.

With a passion for desserts in particular, Colin found himself enjoying some baking for family and friends whilst on furlough throughout the Covid 19 lockdown back in June 2020. His daughter Jennie, always knew how amazing his bakes were, and for years had urged him to go solo and set up his own business. It took a worldwide pandemic for Colin to embrace his skills and capabilities to be a business owner, but here we are today!

A hugely calorific hobby suddenly turned into a fully fledged business within a matter of weeks and Berry’s Kitchen soon began to grow. After a month or two in his home kitchen, Colin decided to take the plunge and expanded the business and moved the ‘kitchen’ to his very own unit based at Hartlepool Enterprise Centre.

Today, joined by Colins’ partner Jane we are currently supplying to a number of local businesses in the North East, as well as popping up at local markets, music events & food festivals!

Last week we had an educational presentation from our plumber & heating specialist, Leon Wight from LWP plumbing.

Yesterday we had an amazing meeting!
Almost 30 business people in the room from so many various sectors. We shared almost 70 genuine referrals and had 5 new visitors.

On top of that we had a feature presentation from Martin Smith from Mayfield Insurance Brokers who are based on the Hartlepool Marina and specialise in commercial insurance.
He highlighted all of the grey areas in insurance that are often overlooked by general internet insurance providers. So many businesses are under insured and some even paying unnecessary premiums. That’s where Martin and his teams expertise comes in to provide you with peace of mind so that if you needed to claim you can be assured that’s it a painless process.

Last week we had Paul Richards from The Duke of Cleveland which is more than just a pub!

They serve amazing pub food from Wednesday to Saturday in their restaurant on the ground floor and their legendary Sunday lunch between 12pm-3pm. All their Produce is locally sourced from award winning suppliers.

Upstairs they have 2 function rooms. The large one hold up to 70 guests for private functions & weddings and the blue room holds up to 30 people.

They work with trusted celebrants to ensure your wedding ceremony is personal, meaningful and stress free.

On Fridays they have live music too!
