I find this question the most difficult to answer. Reiki is such a personal choice and experience so it is ultimately down to you as an individual.
However, Reiki is not a quick fix. It was likened to Physio by a client of mine….would you expect to be cured from one session of Physio!? 🤷♀️
I would always recommend having 3-4 sessions 2-4 weeks apart from the beginning of your journey. It would be very unlikely to recognise long lasting improvements from one session.
As time goes on, you can start to recognise when you personally need it. Move sessions to 6 weeks apart, quarterly, every 6months or equally, you may prefer to visit every fortnight. It depends on your wants, needs and your body’s response.
However, from one session, you will recognise - improved sleep, reduced stress, relief from restless legs, pain relief etc.
