Meet our Climbing Coach Poppy Jeavons 🧗

Poppy has worked in climbing since 2019, gaining experience across multiple centres and coaching a wide range of ages and abilities—from absolute beginners to competition climbers.

In 2024, she had the privilege of joining the coaching team for the England Regional Youth Climbing Squad. She currently coaches the competition squad at Oakwood Climbing Centre while also working with climbers of all backgrounds and experience levels.

Poppy’s coaching journey has taken her abroad, including supporting competition climbers alongside the Czech team in Austria. She has taught countless people the fundamentals of climbing and supported them throughout their climbing journeys.

At the heart of it all, She’s a climber first—passionate about the sport and dedicated to sharing that passion with others.

Our very first Children’s Climbing Session took place yesterday, led by our amazing coach and experienced climber Poppy Jeavons! 🧗‍♀️✨

Next sessions are happening on December 20th:

I honestly couldn’t be happier or more in love with our studios, this project, and the amazing community — from our youngest climbers to our lifelong athletes — who train with us every day.
