Soundbath Dates at the Weald and Downland Museum.

Step away from the pressures of modern life and into a deeply calming, multi-sensory experience as the Weald & Downland Living Museum introduces a series of restorative Soundbath sessions set within its unique historic surroundings.

Combining the therapeutic tones of gongs, singing bowls, and gentle percussion with the natural beauty and heritage of the site, these sessions offer a rare opportunity to connect sound, history, and environment in a profoundly relaxing way. Hosted within the striking Downland Gridshell building, the experience is designed to immerse participants in a harmonious blend of architecture, nature, and sound.

The interplay between the building’s complex acoustic architecture, the gentle resonance of the instruments, and the natural soundscape, complete with birdsong, creates a uniquely peaceful environment.

Drumming Circle With Relaxing Closing Gongbath With A Magnificent Single Gong. Today (Sunday 19th April, 3pm, Cowdray Hall in Midhurst).

There are just afew spaces left for this popular event this afternoon.

There will be a 90 minute drumming circle followed by a 30 minute gongbath. Both activities work together in perfect synergy for meditation and wellbeing. The drumming provides the opportunity to experience the powerful resonances of collective drumming, allowing the vibrations to relax the mind and body. The gongbath from one huge 42 inch gong provides a perfect way to bring the session to closure and deep rest.

No previous experience is needed, all drums are provided, or bring your own if you have one.

Gongbath Special Event, North Heath Hall, Horsham in May.

I will be returning to North Heath Hall on Friday 8th May for another gongbath special event. The previous sessions have been very popular and this provides the opportunity to present a much larger range of gongs than usual. The hall has fabulous acoustics which work extremely well with the deep therapeuitc tones of a range of large gongs for a deep and immersive sonic experience for relaxation and wellbeing.

Cowdray Hall Sound Healing Events in April.

There will be a DRUMMING CIRCLE WITH CLOSING GONGBATH session on Sunday 19th April.
The focus on the drumming is for meditation and wellbeing rather than recreational drumming. It is open to all and no previous experience is needed. You can go at your own pace too.
Drums are provided.

On Friday 24th April I wil be returning for my REGULAR MONTHLY SOUND JOURNEY SESSION.The summer sessions will take place in the main hall, which has incredible acoustics and the beautiful carved ceiling offers an additional visual aspect to the sound meditation. I will be bringing a larger selection of gongs along to these sessions due ot the larger size of the main hall.

I will be returning to Alton Community Centre for another soundbath session on Sunday 26th April at 6pm.

Weald & Downland Living Museum First Soundbath Session.

It was a great pleasure to play my first soundbath in the magnificent setting of the Gridshell building at the museum. The visually complex and beautiful structure, along with the songs of the birds outside combined perfectly together with the sounds of the gongs to make a very unique and memorable session.

It was a great pleasure to play there this time and I am looking forward to returning in May.
