Lace up your trainers for the 2025 Boxing Day Run at Hindhead! This festive 3.5-mile challenge takes in the beautiful Hindhead Commons and includes Gibbet Hill and the Devil’s Punchbowl. The run is open to people of all ages and running abilities - participants can run, jog, or walk at their own pace.

Thank you to Hindhead resident Matt Dellar who has been the organiser of the run since 1997 and has raised nearly £70,000 to support vital patient rehabilitation and care at Holy Cross. Tickets cost £15 and are available from www.boxingdayrun.org

Our patients had a truly special outing with our wonderful Activities Team and Caregivers to the stunning RHS Wisley gardens. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a beautiful welcome sign that stayed up all day — thank you, RHS Garden Wisley!

The grounds were breathtaking, filled with vibrant autumnal displays that brought smiles and joy to everyone. It was a fantastic day of connection, nature, and laughter.

We took time to recognise the incredible work of our AHPs and their vital roles in patient care. From physiotherapists to dietitians and speech and language therapists — every AHP makes a difference.

🌞 Creativity in the Sunshine! 🎨

Our Occupational Therapy team recently took therapy outdoors to the hospital terrace — and the results were truly inspiring! One of our talented patients created this beautiful piece of artwork during the session. 🖌️💛

We were so moved by their creativity and progress that we’ve framed the artwork and proudly displayed it in the hospital for everyone to enjoy. A wonderful reminder of the healing power of art and nature!
