ANXIETY IS A BITCH!

Yes this morning I was awake at 4:30 🥱, couldn’t get back to sleep 😴 then brain goes into overdrive 🙈

Might as well get up and go see if I can work out how to do the thing that’s causing havoc in my head.

It’s a techy thing- says it all 😂

So I watch a support video and yes it’s helpful but it doesn’t help with every step. Partly because I need to link two systems to work together- sorry if I’ve lost you 😁

This is where my anxiety starts to show up.

I’m sure there is another video somewhere that will show me how but I can’t remember where or which 🙈🙈🙈

I’ll figure it out - quite possibly with some input from some incredible people.

But in the meantime I can feel the anxiety in my body and I know that if I don’t get a grip I risk not doing anything.

Right now it’s still there, and will be till I get back from work but then I’ll sort it because I’m determined to, I don’t want to put yet another thing on hold.

I’ll find the support videos I need, I’ll put the feelers out, I might even ask AI how. The anxiety will Fk off and my confidence will return.

Me, I woke up feeling tired 🥱 this morning despite apparently getting a good nights sleep! And yes it's taken time to get going today.
I could have leaned into the tiredness and chilled out - I chose not to - I headed out into the chill with Tara, enjoying a brisk fresh walk.
And this afternoon I've managed to get on and be a little bit productive with work 😁.
I'm not going to say I have all the answers, I don't and to be honest this time of year it is still time for hibernation in reality. Yes there are signs of spring (partly because the seasons are a bit out of kilter), but we're not there yet.
Also, all the hype of the festive season can leave us feeling tired and a bit deflated - I don't feel like that, but I am stepping gently into 2026 rather than rushing full steam ahead.

Winter ❄️

This cold snap is a quiet reminder of what winter is really about.
A season to slow down. To soften. To rest.

In nature, winter is a time of hibernation — and we are part of nature too.
We don’t need to rush around burning energy we don’t have.
We’re allowed to take our time.
To just be.

To cosy up by the fire, wrap ourselves in a blanket, sit with our animals.
To enjoy gentle walks in the crisp, cold mornings and let the stillness clear our minds.

We don’t need to make lots of resolutions we feel we should keep.
Instead, we can reflect… and reset with purpose.
