Sun’s out… cocktails out! ☀️🍹

We’re making the most of this beautiful weather here, and our talented chef has been hard at work creating a selection of refreshing, sunshine-ready cocktails for our residents to enjoy. From fruity favourites to classic blends, there’s something for everyone — and they’re being served up with plenty of smiles and laughter! 😄

Our outdoor spaces are looking lovely, the atmosphere is buzzing, and it’s the perfect time to come and see what life here is all about. Whether you fancy a relaxed stroll through the home, a friendly chat with our team, or just want to soak up the warm, welcoming environment, you’re always invited.

And of course… no visit would be complete without sampling our freshly made cakes — baked right here and every bit as tempting as they sound — alongside one of our delicious cocktails. 🍰🍹 Trust us, they’re not to be missed!

Making the most of this beautiful April sunshine in our garden! 🌿☀️

Our residents have been getting creative with some garden art, enjoying the simple pleasure of painting outdoors surrounded by fresh air and spring colour. It’s been such a lovely way to relax, express creativity, and spend time together.

Activities like painting in the sunshine bring so many benefits in elderly and dementia care — from boosting mood and reducing anxiety to encouraging gentle conversation and sparking memories. Being outdoors adds an extra lift, helping everyone feel more connected and refreshed.

Days like these are what it’s all about 💛

A huge thank you to Jamie Golding, West End star, for spending the afternoon with our residents and truly lighting up the room. From an incredible playlist to brilliant interaction, it was an absolute joy from start to finish — a real game changer for everyone who joined in.

Moments like these remind us just how powerful music and singing can be, especially in elderly and dementia care. The smiles, the memories, the laughter… simply priceless. 💛

What a fantastic morning here at Furzefield Manor as we proudly hosted our very first Blue Light event 💙

A huge thank you to all our incredible Blue Light guests who joined us – it was an absolute pleasure to welcome you. We hope you enjoyed a relaxed start to your day with freshly baked pastries, hearty bacon baguettes, and our homemade strawberry lemonade 🍓✨

This is just the beginning, and we’re so grateful for the amazing turnout and support. We look forward to hosting many more of these special mornings in the future!

Our Knitting Club was in full swing today, and what a cosy, creative afternoon it turned out to be! From colourful scarves to charming little creations, the needles were clicking and the laughter was flowing just as fast. 💛
