Every year we hold the Halloween cup competition and this year we were looking for the most terrifying and gory looking pumpkin designs!

Well, we were not disappointed, the entries from everyone were absolutely glorious and horrible!! After much debate the winner of the cup this year is Alison with her ghoulish tentacled creation!!!

Well done!!!

Garry’s birthday party was a musical sensation and all thanks to the wonderful gang from Culture Shift who helped him celebrate! Donned with instruments galore they provided an interactive, inclusive music session and what a fabulous afternoon, enjoyed by residents, family members, and the staff team.

From electric guitars to iPads filled with music and even a personalised song specifically for the residents and the things they love. This was a truly magical experience, and we recommend them to everyone!

Wow!! This is truly incredible!

We are so proud to share the news that Kingsley and Danny completed the Hastings half marathon on Sunday to raise money for St Michael’s hospice and to date have raised £913.75!

Kingsley said, “We decided to do this as a challenge to ourselves as we like to go on long walks and although the original plan was to walk the Half Marathon, during training we discovered we were pretty good at jogging!! We really would like to thank everyone who has supported us along the way and we hope to do it again next year”

To take on an event like this takes so much commitment, determination, and bravery, it’s fair to say Kingsley and Danny are heroes of East View Housing, well done guys!!

🌞 End of Summer Party! 🎉

East View Housing threw an end of summer party bash that could be heard three streets away! There were games so competitive you’d think medals were at stake, dance moves that defied physics and enough laughter to power the National Grid!

Everyone had so much fun, they are already looking forward to next year!

What a day we had visiting the Big City! 🇬🇧

Residents and staff set off for a fun-filled day in London. Starting with breath-taking views from the London Eye, enjoying a delicious lunch at The Slug and Lettuce, and exploring the fascinating London Sea Life Centre.

Laughter, fun, and memories were made all day, everyone agreed it was the best day ever!

🏴‍☠️ Ah har me hearties!! 🦜

David’s dream came true today when Jack Sparrow came to visit Newlands Close. David is a big fan of Pirate Day in Hastings, but in recent years as it’s got more popular, it’s become more difficult for him to go. But fear not, that wasn’t going to stop the staff from arranging his very own pirate day at home and shiver me timbers it went down a storm!!!

Thank you, Jack Sparrow, you were fantastic! ❤

Residents took full advantage of Knock Hatch Adventure Park in Hailsham. A great day of fun. The sun shone bright and there were smiles and laughs the whole day, another trip back to be planned for next year!
