So, - who are we?
After taking some time out to have a baby, I was faced with the reality that I couldn't return to work! Tens of thousands of £ spent on my degrees and training, winning national awards, and years of experience with such a wide variety of clients - and I feel like it's harder than ever to do what i love doing!
Being a self-employed small business takes time, and with a young family its just impossible. I had to give up my clinic space as I wouldn't be able to have enough time to make enough money to cover rent. I am faced with the situation that so many mothers face when coming back into self employed work - how is this going to work?
Within the same week of trying to figure out how i am ever going to work, my dear friend Sharon offered me a space to do something I had been thinking of for years. A collaboration, a support network, a hub, a collective. A space to give other therapists a helping hand - and a space for me to be able to come back to work! And in a full circle moment, it was a space I can promote and grow a mission close to my heart. For years I have championed affordable, accessible, and inclusive therapies rooted in acceptance and love from ALL of my community.
So, a space has been made to support, nurture, and nourish these wonderful and highly qualified therapists AND it is a space to champion and promote inclusivity, community, and accessibility.
So please give a follow, share, like. Send to your friends, family, colleagues, neighbours! You don't need to meet a criteria or belong to a certain group, come as you are - give us a message and we will try our best to ensure our therapies are accessible to you. Living Well For All.
