Health care assistants and support workers needed
Job description
Duties:
- Assisting healthcare professionals in providing care to patients
- Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assisting with mobility and transferring patients
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
- Performing light housekeeping tasks in patient's living area
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and assisting with patient mobility
