Forgotten how yummy porridge oats are, especially when made with oat milk.
Apparently, as I understand it, porridge can help lower "bad" LDL cholesterol because it contains soluble fibre called beta-glucan, which helps reduce the absorption of cholesterol.
Other foods which may help lower cholesterol are: nuts (like walnuts and almonds), fatty fish (like salmon, mackerel and trout), beans, and fruits (such as apples, grapes, strawberries and citrus) 💜
