🎅🎄Thank You for Making Our Christmas Market So Special 🎄

A huge thank you to all our wonderful stall holders, residents, families, friends, staff, and members of the community who took part in and supported our Christmas Market.

Your time, creativity, and generosity helped create such a festive atmosphere, and it was lovely to see everyone coming together to celebrate the season. From the beautiful stalls to the smiling faces, the day truly wouldn’t have been the same without you.

We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make the event a success — thank you for sharing the Christmas spirit with us. ✨

A huge thank you to Darin, our personal trainer, for representing Connaught Care Group at the Pompey Quiz Night, to Head Chef Sam and her incredible team for baking a beautiful cake, and to Portsdown View, part of Connaught, for organising a thoughtful and generous raffle.

Thanks to the collective effort of the fantastic host and organiser Pompey Health & Fitness Club and all other organisations involved, who together raised an amazing £920.55 for Mind. Proof that when we come together with purpose, kindness and collaboration, we can create meaningful change.

Today we were invited to Tops Day Nurseries: Havant for Christmas craft and carols. Our residents enjoyed the visit and absolutely loved their cookies and gifts the kids made for them ❤️ 😀 can't wait for our next visit! ❤️

It's inspiring to see how families and local businesses come together to support Bidbury Preschool, and we’re delighted that the Christmas Raffle was such a success. Well done to everyone involved and thank you for all you do for the community, the children you care for and letting Portsdown View Care Home be part of Christmas Raffle.

What a wonderful way to close out the year! The Portsdown View Care Home team came together for a beautiful Christmas celebration at the Marriott Hotel, filled with warmth, laughter, and well-deserved relaxation. It was a special evening where staff let their hair down, celebrated friendships, reflected on hard work, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

A heartfelt thank you to Connaught Care Group and to everyone who supported our end-of-year get-together. Moments like these remind us of the strength of our team and the joy of coming together as one community. ✨🎄

✨💖 What a truly magical afternoon at Portsdown View Care Home ! 💖✨

A heartfelt THANK YOU to ** Swatridge’s Academy of Dance & Tippy Toes Baby Ballet ** for such a beautiful presentation today — it filled our home with grace, joy, and festive cheer! 🩰🎄

We were absolutely delighted to welcome **over 15 wonderful families** who spared their *precious* time to bring the angelic talented ballet dancers to Portsdown View. The smiles, laughter, and festive spirit they shared brought so much happiness to our residents and guests alike. 🥰✨

It is already feeling so merry here, and our hearts are full of gratitude! ❤️ Our residents were also thrilled to share in the joy by gifting small Christmas tokens to the ballet dancers, joining in the dance, singing and cheering— spreading warmth, kindness, and Christmas cheer all around. 🎁🌟

What a beautiful afternoon, enjoyed by all! We are truly thankful and excited to continue spreading the festive spirit together. 🎄🕊️💫
