This is my utter relief and joy when my third bowling ball actually stayed on the mat and finished near to the jack.
I had a pretty big audience heckling me but I was able to silence them for a moment.
If you want to join the fun and try dementia walking football or bowling then we meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at the Taro, Petersfield.

A Christmas concert with Dementia Choirs and Canon Tom

We are thrilled to announce that the dementia friendly Christmas sing-along will be returning again this year. This Right at Home holiday tradition will be taking place on Wednesday, 17 December at St Faith’s Church in Havant. Canon Tom Kennar will be performing alongside Right at Home's Singing for the Mind Dementia Choirs.

All are welcome to attend and join what promises to be a merry sing-along to celebrate the festive season.

It'll be our third year hosting this Event with the St Faith's church in Havant. Last year was well attended and Canon Tom and the Choir were pitch perfect. Terrific fun and a lovely community activity for people living with dementia .

The girls were busy harvesting our second crop of potatoes whilst the boys busied themselves repairing and improving the block work in the Friend of Emsworth garden. Good healthy fun!

Thats it for 2025 dementia gardening - we will take a break over the winter months and aim to return in the Spring of 26
