SPRING is everywhere!

Tuesday, 3rd March, Terrific Tuesdays is meeting at the Westend Church, Withersfield Road, Haverhill CB9 9LA. 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

A friendly support group for anyone living with a dementia condition, their partners, their family members or their carers!

Debby of Snobbyeddy Crafts will be attending which is always a full of fun session!

The meetings at just £2 pp, are affordable for anyone looking for a safe place to take their loved one. Being surrounded by people who understand what you are going through & can offer you support and advice.

The price covers hot & cold drinks, biscuits & cookies, birthday cake when we're celebrating one, & all entertainment & activities!

Run by totally amazing volunteers, maybe you'd like to be our next addition to the voluntary TT Family? Pop in, have a coffee with us & a chat & see what we do, & the difference that we make!

Tuesday 24th February we're meeting at the Burton Centre above Haverhill Library in Camps Road in the Chestnut Room from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.

We're a terrific friendship & support group for people living with dementia, their carers & family members.

This week the extra activity is BINGO, everyone's favourite with lots of prizes, for top line & full house. All included in the usual £2 rate which covers hot & cold drinks, a selection of cookies & biscuits plus a slice of cake when we're celebrating a birthday!

We're a great support network run by volunteers who ALL have hands on experience of caring for a loved one with dementia so can give advice on accessing the local help in the area.

Tuesday 17th February we're at Westend Church, Withersfield Road, Haverhill CB9 9LA at 11 am -2 pm

Hannah is returning from Shaftesbury again to give Dementia advice to our members, face to face to make everyone's dementia journey just a little easier.

If you're a family carer or have a dementia diagnosis our group could be of huge support, so give us a try, you have nothing to lose, the 1st visit is FREE.

We have regular visitors assisting with dementia & entertainment, choirs, reflexology, Crafts, magicians & more. £2 covers hot & cold drinks, biscuits, birthday cake & any entertainment or activity provided. Cost of membership is purposely kept low so anyone can afford the advice, help & companionship.

Tuesday 10th February we're at Haverhill Arts Centre High Street Haverhill for a special dementia screening of " LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME " ( 1955) starring Doris Day & James Cagney. A fabulous American romantic musical biopic drama film.

Starting at 11:30 it runs for 122 mins then we stop for lunch and drinks. The usual £2 pp member fee applies.

Keyla the Audiologist will be in attendance paying us a return visit.

Membership costs just £2 pp on the weeks that are attended & covers hot & cold drinks, biscuits, all entertainment & activities & a slice of birthday cake! This price has been frozen for 9 years, so it's kept affordable for everyone coping with this condition.

The group is run entirely by Volunteers who have years of hands-on experience as Family Carers looking after loved ones with Dementia themselves, so have complete empathy & understanding of the everyday problems. Shaftesbury regularly attends to help with signposting or the difficulties that arise when accessing the system.

The weekly fee for attendance is still just £2 which covers hot & cold drinks, biscuits, birthday cake & all activities or entertainment. There is a huge choice of prizes for a line & then full house & no extra charge!!

So if you have concerns about memory loss conditions or care for someone with dementia or a.similar like Parkinson's why not join us one week?

Tuesday 20th January and we're back at the Westend Church, Withersfield Road Haverhill CB9 9LA

Everyone agreed the building was much warmer last week so don't let a cold morning stop you from joining us. The problem has thankfully & easily been resolved.

If you have concerns about Dementia or are a carer for a family member with Dementia or maybe you're looking for a worthwhile volunteering role? Please get in contact, you'll be pleased you did. We're friendly & helpful with valuable advice & years of experience.

We charge just £2 pp & thanks to fundraising & donations have not put up our membership costs since the group started eight years ago so affordable for all.

Even that £2 covers your hot & cold drinks, biscuits, birthday cakes & all entertainment costs & activities.

Come along, give us a try. Even your first visit is FREE. Can't be fairer than that, we are certain you'll return.

Tuesday 13th January, we are meeting at Westend Church, Withersfield Road, Haverhill CB9 9LA from 11:00am - 2:00pm.

We're a friendly group helping one another through the minefield that is DEMENTIA. All volunteers have hands-on experience of caring for someone on this journey & can give valuable advice.

£2 pp is all it costs per member, including all hot or cold drinks, biscuits, a slice of birthday cake, & all activities. We are affordable for all & intend to stay that way, not having increased our membership price since our formation 8 years ago.

We are always looking for extra volunteers, as the more we have the more help we can offer members. Whether you could help with activities, talk to our carer members, interact with everyone or help in the kitchen, there is a perfect place suitable for most!

MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone at the TERRIFIC TUESDAYS DEMENTIA CLUB.
