After over 60 wonderful years of service, our Halstead branch will be closing its doors.
This was a very difficult decision, and we want to thank every one of you for your trust, loyalty, and friendship over the years. 🫶

Your eye care remains our top priority:
👁️ All patient records are safe and will continue to be looked after in accordance with regulations.
📦 Eyeplan Contact Lens customers — there will be no disruption; your supply will now be managed through our Clare branch, which is the nearest to Halstead.
📅 If you have an order, or glasses to collect, our team will contact you directly.

For continuity of care, your records have automatically transferred to our Clare branch, just 30 minutes away. You are also welcome to visit any of our other branches in Haverhill, Linton, or Sawston.

I always wished we could give back to our local community, so here goes. We are a relatively newly expanded pottery painting studio based in Haverhill.

We are looking to add to begin growing 'The Pottery Shed' team. We need extra help weekends/evenings so you'd need to be over 18. You'd also need a clear DBS check due to running sessions with children. (which we will cover for the right applicant)

We will offer a bright vibrant studio to work in. With a small 5⭐️ rated kitchen offering light hot snacks and hot and cold drinks. (Training provided if needed)

Your duties will include assisting customers face to face, light kitchen duties and general studio duties. We have a very much 'all hands on' approach so if there's something in particular you have an interest in that's great!

You do not have to be 'arty' or a 'ceramist.' You do need to be over 18, fun and prepared to 'have a go'

Hours and pay negotiable with the opportunity of further development as the business develops. Staff discounts and the opportunity to enjoy a popular craft.
