The picture you see above is me after completing my Advanced and Deep Tissue Massage course.
Soo… let me take you back a bit.
Back in 2021, I was working for a large spa in the Cambridgeshire area and doing around eight hours of massage a day. I was constantly having clients ask for a deeper, firmer style of massage.
At the time, I didn’t really have the experience or skill set, and I’d often end up with back and shoulder issues from trying to give deeper massages and applying pressure the wrong way.
In the end, I decided to train and get certified in Advanced and Deep Tissue Massage, and it turned out to be one of the best things I ever did.
It taught me how to use my forearms and elbows properly, how effective they can be during a massage, how to apply deeper pressure correctly, and how to use my whole body during a massage instead of just my arms, which really helped prevent strain.
This didn’t just improve my skill set and up my massage game, it also helped me become a better therapist who can really customise and tailor treatments to each client.
Honestly, training in Advanced and Deep Tissue Massage was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’ve never looked back, and it makes me smile thinking about how many people I’ve met and helped with this incredible treatment.
