With so much wellbeing information available, it can be difficult to know where to begin and it’s completely normal to feel unsure about the right first step. Our Health Trainers are here to make that easier.

They offer friendly conversations, free blood pressure checks, and can signpost you to local services. You’re welcome to drop in to a Health Trainer hub:

We’re proud to support an amazing range of local groups delivering creativity, connection, wellbeing and empowerment across Havering. From inclusive arts and youth programmes to mental health support, cultural clubs, befriending, sports, and community gatherings, people in Havering have come together to make these projects happen. 💚

A huge thank you to every organisation that applied to the Community Chest and to our wonderful community panel volunteers and working group!

This October, we’re inviting you to join the Live Well Havering Community Panel and help decide which projects receive funding through the Live Well Havering Community Chest.

Panel dates:
📍 Havering Town Hall
Monday 13 October 2025 – 9:00am to 5:00pm
Tuesday 14 October 2025 – 12:00pm to 5:00pm
Wednesday 15 October 2025 – 9:00am to 3:00pm

We’re looking for people who live or work in Havering (18+) who want to share their insights. You don’t need any previous experience in grant-making – your lived experience, community knowledge, or simple interest in making Havering better is all you need.

Your time is valuable, and we would be so grateful for your support. As a thank-you, we hope to offer panel members a gift card (subject to availability).
