A quick note just to let people know we will be closing from lunchtime on Friday for a staff event.

We are going to take the opportunity to have our new carpet fitted and plan to be open as normal on Wednesday 3rd December.

We will be behind the scenes while work takes place on Monday & Tuesday and be able to answer any queries by phone or email.

If we are able to re-open sooner we will do so.

It’s that time of year again, you may have seen this image a thousand times but it never looses its relevance!

Winter safety works both ways, yes we at Haxby Opticians can check your eyesight and give you the best possible chance of seeing while out at night but PLEASE make sure you are visible!

If you or your child are out at night either on foot or on bike, take a moment to think how easy you are to see!
