Some new arrivals delivered today, and I couldn't be more excited! Gorgeous enamel soap joining our growing collection here at Castello de Haye.
There's something so timeless about them, a little piece of vintage charm, both beautiful and useful (William Morris would be pleased).
The two-part design is clever: a slatted tray sits atop a base with drainage holes, letting excess water drip away to keep your soap dry, firm, and lasting much longer. When it's time to clean, it dismantles in seconds—simply lift, pour out any water, rinse, and you're done.
Cast iron beneath that smooth, hygienic enamel coating, which means it's built to endure for generations. Cast iron is one of the most recyclable materials out there, infinitely recyclable without losing its strength or quality, often made with recycled content already, and recycling it saves massive amounts of energy compared to producing new from raw ore. A thoughtful choice for the planet.
