Mother’s Day is a special day for so many people. ❤️

It can also be a poignant occasion where we remember Mums who are no longer with us. 💔

Their strength lives on in their children and the love they shared will never ever end.

Today is International Women’s Day and time for us to celebrate the incredible achievements of our favourite lady. ❤️

Donna has looked after many hundreds of families over the years and her care and compassion continues as we move into our fourth year at Bridee Whyte. ❤️

From setting up a funeral home when the industry was dominated by “old men” who said she would last a couple of months. 😮

An incredible lady who we are so proud of for everything she has overcome and achieved. ❤️

Today is a day for celebrating all women, for everything they have done and will do in the future.

And I get the absolute joy of calling her my wife. She is amazing. ❤️

To all the amazing women out there, making a positive contribution - we salute you.

Our Funeral Home is the perfect choice for those looking to celebrate the life of that special person. ❤️

Unlike the crematorium, we only do one service a day - time is the most precious commodity when it comes to saying goodbye. You will never be asked to leave. 🕰️

Photo montages, music, writing messages on the coffin, a Prosecco toast maybe…. 🥂

It’s all about personalising the service in every way possible and having the time you need to say goodbye ❤️

It’s Brian’s birthday today and we think he has turned out okay - albeit it was 55 years in the making. 😂👍

Thank you so much for all the lovely messages and cards - they are very much appreciated. ❤️

The most important people in life are your family and friends and we feel so blessed to have such a special family and such wonderful friends. 💕

Please nobody tell him that from today onwards he is old enough to play golf for the “veterans” 😁⛳️

The modern funeral should be a celebration of life that is as bright, colourful and vibrant as the individual themselves. ❤️

A bright modern venue where attendees are welcomed with tea and coffee. ☕️

Only one service a day, so all the time needed to say farewell, to write messages on the coffin, to chat with family and friends. ⚰️

Enjoy light refreshments after the service in a spacious and well designed reception suite. 🥙

The service itself should be a celebration with great photos, good music and wonderful memories. 🎶

We are the best in the business at hosting and creating such events and we love looking after people. ❤️

Following the announcement of Poundland closing and the recent departure of Howdens. 😢

It highlights the challenges on our High Street and how important it is to use local businesses whenever possible.

Every business is facing unprecedented rises in business rates with increases amounting to 300% over the last three years. 😮

Business rates are a property tax paid by businesses to local councils and they use them to help fund services like rubbish collection, street cleaning and police services.

Support local businesses. Help local people. ❤️

Valentines Day today and our thoughts are with all those who have lost their special person and won’t get a card, or some chocolates or flowers. 🌷

Cards will be put away, the chocolates eaten and the flowers will slowly wilt over time but the one thing that lasts forever is the love you feel. ❤️

On this day, it is always worth remembering that although life has to end - love doesn’t.

You are amazing. 🌺

The lives people lead are so colourful and bright and that is how we should say farewell to these special people.❤️

Our Funeral Services are personalised, celebratory and a world away from the hearse journey to the crematorium.

Music that reminds friends and family of a special time, photos that start off black and white from an old album and end in HD colour taken on a smart phone. 📸

Time to say farewell as we only ever do one service a day. Time to write messages on the coffin and to light candles. 🕯️

We do funeral differently. For us it’s personal. ❤️

Today is World Cancer Day and the theme is “United by Unique”. ❤️

It highlights the crucial role of personalised patient - centred care in the fight against cancer.

The importance of adapting cancer treatments to cater to the unique needs of each individual.

For all those who have experienced the struggle of cancer, either as a sufferer, a carer, a survivor, a family member or a friend.

We will always salute your bravery and your courage.

We saw this the other day a thought it was worth sharing.

It was not that long ago that life did not revolve around a mobile phone or a screen.

Happier times perhaps, different times most definitely.

A very happy Burns Night to all those that are celebrating this evening. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥃

Haggis, Neeps and Tatties all round.

The photo reminds me of the amazing family we looked after for when they lost their Mum.❤️

She had always wanted a piper to play at her funeral. 🎶

We kept him hidden as her son wanted it kept as a surprise for the friends and family that came to the Service.

As we were saying our final farewell’s, the sound of the pipes slowly began to fill the air of the Funeral Home.

Getting louder and louder.🎶

When the family were ready to leave John, the piper, led them all home playing Amazing Grace from our front door to their front door.

A wonderful Celebration of Life for a special local lady - she got her bagpiper. ❤️
