Is it really “just growing pains”… or something more? 🤔
If your child is complaining of heel pain after football, or knee pain during sport, it’s often brushed off as “growing pains”…
But here’s the truth 👇
👉 True growing pains are usually vague, in both legs, and worse at night.
👉 If the pain is in one spot, linked to activity, or causing limping… it could be something else.
At the clinic, we’re seeing more and more cases of:
✔️ Sever’s Disease (heel pain)
✔️ Osgood-Schlatter's (knee pain)
These are really common in active kids, especially this time of year as sport picks up again.
The good news?
✅ They’re treatable
✅ You don’t have to stop your child from doing what they love
✅ Early advice makes a huge difference
