Feedback Friday at Nuffield Health Oxford, The Manor Hospital 🌟

We’re pleased to share this fantastic five-star review from a recent patient highlighting the care and expertise of our team:

“Wonderful service from both specialist (Adrian Kendal) and radiologist (Caroline). Mr Kendal has booked me in for surgery next week, as long as pre-op can be arranged. A new X-ray machine was being used by Caroline, which was easily manoeuvred (saving future back problems, I’m sure).”

💚 At The Manor Hospital, our teams work closely together to ensure patients receive expert, coordinated care every step of the way. From advanced imaging technology to specialist consultations and preparing for surgery, every stage is designed to support the best possible outcomes.

👏 Thank you to Adrian and Caroline for delivering such excellent care, and to all of our colleagues who continue to provide outstanding experiences for our patients every day.

🌟 My BPH Journey: From Weak Flow to “A Fire Hose”🌟

In this powerful patient story, we hear firsthand from someone whose life was dramatically changed by Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) and the treatment that helped him reclaim normal urinary function: Aquablation Therapy.

He opens up about the daily challenges of living with a poor, weak urine flow (a symptom many men silently struggle with) and shares how his experience at The Manor Hospital transformed everything. After undergoing Aquablation Therapy, he describes the results as going from barely being able to pass urine to “having a fire hose.”

Feedback Friday at Nuffield Health Oxford, The Manor Hospital 🌟

We’re proud to share this fantastic feedback from a patient following their first visit to The Manor Hospital:

“I received excellent service at The Manor Hospital during my first visit (15/01/2026) when I met the surgeon, Miss Harriet Banford-White, who will carry out a left hip replacement on me in the near future.

Miss Banford-White proved to be a very ‘reassuring presence’, and I became increasingly relaxed in her company with every word she spoke. I liked her no-nonsense approach, and she explained everything very clearly and thoroughly. She addressed all of the issues that I raised in as much detail as the time allowed.

I left the appointment feeling that I will be in very safe hands when she carries out the operation.

Everything about this hospital is impressive: standard of cleanliness, decoration, efficiency at the reception desk, and the pleasant manner of the staff. I couldn’t fault it.

Thank you for a wonderful experience!!”

💚 We’re delighted to hear how reassured and confident our patient felt ahead of their upcoming surgery. Providing clear explanations, expert care and a calm, supportive environment is at the heart of what we do.

👏 A huge thank you to Miss Harriet Banford-White and all of our colleagues from reception to clinical teams, who work together to deliver exceptional patient experiences every day.

The surgical team of Mr Whitwell and Dr Piggott were reassuring and excellent.

Would almost say it was an enjoyable experience!”
