Could hypnotherapy sessions be just as good as following a specialised diet for IBS?
According to a 2016 Australian study, YES, and hypnotherapy offers even better results when there is a psychological element to the problem.
The study included 74 participants, 25 of whom received hypnotherapy treatment for their IBS symptoms, 24 diet and 25 a combination of both.
