Thank you to The Youth Fairy Heathfield for leading this free bereavement group for us. Thank you to all who have attended in 2025 and please if you are in need, do come and see us in 2026. Don’t struggle on alone, this space is here for anyone bereaved, not just for families we have conducted funerals for.

💛 Our Free Local Bereavement Group 💛

Yesterday’s bereavement group was a really positive and meaningful session. It was lovely to see people connecting, sharing, and supporting one another in such a safe and gentle space.

Grief can feel incredibly isolating, and being able to sit with others who truly understand can make a real difference. There was honesty, compassion, and even a few moments of lightness, all of which are so important when navigating loss.

I’m so grateful to everyone who came along and trusted the group with their stories. You are not alone, and this space is here for you. 💫

The majority of funding that charities receive, come from donations in memory of someone who has passed away. It's a lovely way for a family to show their gratitude to a charity that have supported them & their loved one, or because it was a cause that was close to their loved one's heart.

Thank you to everyone who has donated in this way, it really does make a difference!

DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN HOLD A FUNERAL ANYWHERE?

Most families opt for a service at the local crematorium or church, but you can hold a funeral anywhere. No license required, just the permission of the venue owners.

Yesterday we said goodbye to a gentleman who lived & worked nearly his entire life in Rotherfield. So his family choose a local flower nursery & cafe as the setting for his service and he was taken on his final journey to his burial on a trailer, pulled by a much loved tractor, driven by his son.

As the service took place a rainbow 🌈 appeared over the barn. A perfect send off in a place he knew & loved for this much loved Dad, grandad and friend.

The Remembrance Christmas Tree is back at White Feather at our premises in the town centre on Station Approach. If you would like to pop in and write a message for the tree before Christmas, please get in touch.

All messages will be placed in an ashes box and interred at the grave yard at White Chapel, Punnetts Town in January 2026.

In Loving Memory of Sharon Berry shared on behalf of her family.

Donations can be made in memory of Sharon to St Wilfrid’s Hospice both at the service or via the online tribute page. The service will be available to watch online. All the funeral information & how to donate is on this link.

A lovely thoughtful gift for someone missing someone they love this Christmas 🎄❤️

This 9k gold band ring was made for a lovely lady that had been widowed. She chose the pale blue opal as the background for her husband’s ashes. ❤️
