At Carricks Brook, we provide a high ratio of extremely skilled staff to support up to 12 adults with LD, Autism, ASD, Aspergers & challenging behaviours.

Carricks Brook is a Residential Care Home in Dallington, East Sussex providing high quality, person centred support to adults with Autism & other Neurodiverse conditions. We follow a person centered approach to support our residents to set & achieve their goals. Carricks Brook is a family run business, with over 30 years experience. We pride ourselves on having excellent relationships with local authorities & external healthcare professionals. The home is set in a peaceful rural location with access to our own wonderful grounds & miles of unspoilt woodland walks. We have plenty of company cars which enable our residents to access the local and wider community including the beach & seaside towns of Hastings, Bexhill & Eastbourne. We support our residents to live their best life!

Aspens Acorns Sensory Room offered a magical morning of sensory exploration!
Will, Simon and David were fully immersed in the colourful lights and soothing sounds, an enjoyable sensory experience for all.
And a trip to Dunorlan Park to see the geese afterwards ended the trip perfectly.🪿

🦖🦕Andrew's visit to Paradise Park turned into a fun dinosaur adventure!
He came face-to-face with a fierce Dromaeosaurus, getting up close to its razor-sharp teeth. His visit continued through the Planet Earth Exhibition, where he saw ancient fossils, minerals, and crystals that have been around for over half a billion years. What an amazing day out! 🦖🦕

Trampolining fun at Gravity!
Residents and staff recently enjoyed a day out at Gravity Trampolining Park in Maidstone.
It was a great opportunity to get moving, have some fun, and spend time together outside the home.
Plenty of smiles and a good bit of exercise made for a memorable outing.😀

Happy Chocolate Day! 🍫

Last Friday, our residents indulged in a delicious celebration of Chocolate Day!
From sampling a variety of chocolate treats to sipping on mugs of hot chocolate 🍵, it was a great success.

They also put their chocolate knowledge to the test with a fun quiz, discovering fascinating facts about how chocolate is made and uncovering the UK's best-selling chocolate, also guessing the flavours from a big box of Dairy Box!

To top it all off, each resident got to choose their favourite chocolate of the day.
Definitely a popular topic for a residents' meeting! 🍫😀😋

On a recent sunny day, Joe had a lovely wander through Ashburnham Woods and ended the trip with some fun at the park.
