🌟 What a busy and wonderful week at Hawthorn Court Care Home! 🌟

It’s never too early to get into the festive spirit — our residents had a fantastic time making handmade Christmas cards! 🎄🎅✨

We’ve also been enjoying some good old-fashioned fun with old school games 🎲🎯 and a lovely Book Club session featuring stories from the North East, Jarrow, and Hebburn. 📚💬

We proudly came together for Armistice Day, holding our two minutes’ silence and waving our Union Jack flags in remembrance. ❤️🇬🇧🌹

🌺 Remembrance Sunday at Hawthorn Court 🌺

Today, our residents and team came together to remember and honour all those who sacrificed so much for our freedom. ❤️

We shared stories, memories, and took part in a quiet moment of reflection to pay our respects. It was a beautiful and moving tribute, reminding us how important it is to keep their memory alive across generations.

A huge thank you to our lovely senior Tracy and her husband John for their kind donation of a trellis, which our residents enjoyed decorating with poppies! 🌹

🎉 What a fun few days we’ve had at Hawthorn Court Care Home! 🎉
We’ve been keeping busy with balloon exercises, old-school games, and a few lively rounds of bingo! 🎈🎲
To top it all off, we took a lovely bus trip to South Shields and the coast, enjoyed the fresh sea air, and treated ourselves to a yummy ice cream.

We have our lovely Myras 90th Birthday and Helen enjoyed her birthday celebrations too.

Lots of laughs, smiles, and happy memories made — just how we like it here at Hawthorn Court! ❤️
