The home is officially full of Christmas cheer, and we’re excited to kick off a month packed with festive fun for our residents, families, and friends! ❤️❄️

Here’s a little look at what we’ve got coming up:

🎉 Christmas Party – 12th December
Join us for a joyful afternoon of music, laughter and festive celebration!

🧶 Christmas Craft Activities
Our residents will be busy creating seasonal decorations and handmade treats throughout the month.

👕 Christmas Jumper Day
We’ll be rocking our festive knits—bright, bold and Christmassy!

🎶 Harton Harmonies Visit
We’re thrilled to welcome Harton Harmonies as they bring their wonderful Christmas songs to the home.

🍼 Top of the Tots
We’re looking forward to welcoming the little ones for some intergenerational festive fun.

🕺 Silent Disco
A Christmas silent disco is planned—perfect for dancing, laughing and enjoying music in a fun, inclusive way.

👗 Festive Staff Dress-Up
Keep an eye out… our staff have some fun Christmas outfits planned to spread extra sparkle around the home!

✨ What a fantastic day we've had! ✨
Our residents enjoyed a brilliant blast from the past at Newcastle United Football Club, with the amazing Warren Barton as our guest speaker. His stories and videos brought smiles, laughter, and lots of wonderful memories!

Afterwards, we headed to Seaburn for some delicious fish and chips, then took the scenic route along the beautiful South Shields seafront. 🌊🐟🍟

A huge thank you to Pat for all your help today — you were an absolute star! ⭐

Feeling grateful, happy, and already looking forward to our next adventure! 💛

Residents share stories and questions with Kate Osborne MP at Hawthorn Court Care Home

Residents and colleagues at HC-One’s Hawthorn Court Care Home in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear, were delighted to welcome Kate Osborne, Member of Parliament for Jarrow and Gateshead East, on Thursday 20th November for a special visit celebrating the home’s strong sense of community and quality care.

Tonight we went along to the Hebburn Christmas lights switch-on 🎄✨ and had the pleasure of meeting the Mayor and Mayoress. Despite the wet and cold weather 🌧️❄️, the atmosphere was absolutely lovely and the residents really seemed to enjoy it. A wonderful community evening!
