Rebecca May Yoga My intention is to create an inspiring and joyful place for students to reconnect with themselves and navigate presence and self awareness.

• Weekly yoga classes in the Hedge End area.• Private 1-1 yoga classes can be held in my studio or at your home, please contact me directly for further information. I have been practising yoga for 8 years, initially as a dancer I found yoga through my love of movement. It wasn’t until I began to learn the true meaning of the linage that I really fell in love with the practice and now allow these teachings to ripple through my life. I feel truly blessed to be able to share my passion as a teacher and feel much gratitude for the wonderful community it creates.

After 3 years of having the same smoothie every day for breakfast, I’ve gone off it!

One of my gorg clients shared her breakfast recipe with me and I’ve had it every day since, so thought I’d share it with you 🍓

I used to love porridge but found it heavy and it would never fill me up until lunch, but this really hits the spot.

A perfect start to the day, high fibre, plant protein, healthy fats and all wholefood goodness.

I don’t have much to give this week. My cup has felt quite empty (but simultaneously full). I’m grateful that it’s rare I feel this way and I credit that to my practice.

Some things that have filled my cup this week despite feeling a bit low:

1. Cosy studying - I adore learning. I chose strategically and delved into the breathwork parts of my advanced training so I could calm my nervous system at the same time 🫁
2. Teaching - I’ve seen so many beautiful clients this week. Creating a space for people to give back to themselves inadvertently fills my cup more than I can explain, forever grateful for my work 🧘🏼‍♀️
3. I’ve gone off my smoothie???? I’m shocked!! So one of my gorg clients sent me her porridge recipe which will be my go-to for the foreseeable 🍓
4. Just being. Cuddling my babes with no distraction, just fully present with them is the best 🤍
5. My new intention is to implement moments of pause. Rather than constantly doing, leaning in to just being. Drinking a matcha undistracted in my favourite spot in the house was heavenly, it’s been a while ☁️

7. Slowing down bedtimes and reading in Ophelia’s room while she falls asleep. I love how calm the girls bedrooms are at bedtime so it’s a lovely place to be🌜

Loveliness & moments of joy lately 🤍

1. Using the lighter mornings as the perfect opportunity to effortlessly shift my schedule to waking up earlier ⛅️
2. My two angels riding ponies in the sunshine, on day one of our first half term 🫶🏼
3. So grown up, I’m ADORING this age. I feel like I have girlfriend with me 20/7 at the moment (not 24 because let’s be real the tantrums still exist etc) 🥲
4. Priortising looking after myself so I can hold space for everyone else, one of my greatest privileges. I don’t take it for granted for a second🧘🏼‍♀️
5. Beautiful morning for my last Saturday class. Making aligned decisions for my business with the girlies at the forefront of it all ✨
6. The recipe books I’m reaching for every week while meal planning in the autumn season 🍂🤎
7. MAGIC. Restorative Evening Retreat ☁️
8. School drop off. Tullulah has become another level of sass recently and comes out with some hilarious comments. She’s also fashion/accessories obsessed. It’s a complete joy to watch her become her own little lady (the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree) 💁🏼‍♀️
9. Really leaning into slower practices at the moment unintentionally but it’s interesting how when we’re really tuned in we naturally mirror the seasons. Restorative yoga, breathwork, meditation & journaling are really hitting the spot 🧘🏼‍♀️
10. So proud of Tullulah for her first half term at school, she’s been absolutely exhausted (this was 10 minutes after arriving home from school one day, of course had time to glam up before taking a nap) but she’s taken it in her stride, made the best friends and is such a curious and open learner. Proudest mama 💖
