There’s so much noise this time of year from people who love a fresh start and use the new year as an opportunity to re-evaluate, set goals/intentions, and noise from others who dislike it, feel pressure and perhaps feel as though they ‘should’ be doing something that doesn’t feel aligned to them.
I sit in between them both. I think do what makes you happy, if anything initiates you to implement positive change that makes you feel better in both your physical and mental wellbeing, thats a good thing. If you find it stressful, remind yourself January is simply another month, another day and you’re enough exactly as you are.
For me these in’s and out’s aren’t a strict list of non-negotiables, some days the things will happen and others they wont. These are the things I want in my awareness that will make me feel better, and continue to be a better human.
It’s not about changing into someone new, it’s about becoming who I already am without all the layers.
However you feel this time of year, you’re doing enough. All in perfect timing xx
