I’m not interested in awards from unassociated bodies of nothing with a label proclaiming to be the best….. I’m from a different time when word of mouth was the strongest advert and I stand by this principle…. If your good you shouldn’t need to buy a table of 8 at an awards ceremony to tell you this 😬 your busy day and job satisfaction should give you enough credit 🥇
Being visible doesn’t mean you’re the best.
There’s a lot of hype in this industry.
Events, awards, being seen in the right places… it can start to look like that’s where the most knowledgeable or skilled practitioners are.
But that isn’t always the reality.
Most patients don’t need someone who’s highly visible.
They need someone who knows what they’re doing and is invested in them.
Someone who understands the detail.
Who takes their time.
Who isn’t rushing from one patient to the next.
Who cares about getting it right, not just getting it done.
A lot of the best work happens quietly.
In clinic.
Without noise.
Without exposure.
Over time, that’s what builds real trust with your patients. 💜
