Harper Beauty is a special place, not only for its unique location in Lord Dufferin's 1863 railway station but also for our ethos, which is kindness and connection. At Harper Beauty we are focused on creating a space that is calm: a tranquil escape from the hustle and noise. It is our desire, that each person who comes through our doors would feel safe, respected and valued. That each client would experience a deep sense of peace and stillness and leave feeling rested and restored. The Harper Beauty team are dedicated to their work, to the industry and to their continued professional development. Each member of the Harper Beauty team is valued and appreciated for the person and individual that they are and the talent, skills and abilities they bring to the salon. My wee heart is bursting from having had the best night with this amazing team! We support each other, lift each other up and make sure there are always snacks for the super busy days!!!!! We are so grateful to everyone who comes to us, trusts us and has supported us over the years. I always wanted the salon to be a place of connection and warmth. Here we go! It feels like such a big deal to bring this dream into a reality. Since that very first marathon in memory of my mum I’ve wanted to run London. And as we go into our 10th year since Mum died, I’m going to get that opportunity. I’m running London marathon 2026 for . Each photo tells a story, Mum getting her makeup done in work for her wedding anniversary, fun times just out and about and the last photo, in Marie Curie Belfast the day our lives changed forever. I was just sitting with Roz and I knew that when we went out those doors back to Mum’s room we were going to experience the greatest heartbreak of our lives. Since that day running has become a comfort, alone space, a place a learned to cope with grief. I have joked about this being LonDONE marathon as I really feel I can only put my body through one more gruelling training block. The marathon is a distance that demands your full heart. I will give my full heart - I will celebrate my Mum every single mile and I will do that along side the most beautiful soul that I met in those corridors. All pennies will go to the work of the amazing work of Marie Curie and I’ll share here, a little of my running journey along the way. 🫶🏻

Deborah and the team at Harper Beauty are delighted to welcome you to our sanctuary in Helen’s Bay. From the moment you enter Lord Dufferin's beautifully restored railway station you are transported to a place of calm and peace. Whether it be for an eyebrow wax or an de stressing Lava Shell massage you will leave feeling restored, relaxed and re-balanced.
