Today we said a fond farewell to one of our Administrators as she moves onto pastures new. Louise has been with us since April 2021 and was brought in, at that time, to help the Practice through Covid times. She became an important part of our excellent Administration team. We thank her for all her hard work and support over the last 4 years and wish her all the very best in her new, exciting adventures.....Thank you & Good luck Louise 💙🩷💜

September Public Holiday reminder

People across Greater Glasgow and Clyde are being reminded that GP practices and many pharmacies will be closed for the September Public Holiday on Monday 29th September.

People who need medicines regularly are encouraged to think ahead and ensure they have an appropriate supply of their repeat prescriptions, ordering only what they need, when they need it.

GP practices will be closed on 29th September and routine medications will not be issued by the GP Out of Hours service, including controlled drugs. It is important to note that this service is by appointment only.

A number of community pharmacies will be open on the 29th. Further details will be published on the NHSGGC website later this week.

Every community pharmacy in Scotland provides the Pharmacy First service, offering support and treatment for a range of minor ailments from coughs and colds to earache and heartburn.

Anyone can walk in off the street and be seen, with no appointment necessary.

Pharmacies are an important part of a range of services available to people throughout NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

For more information on the best ways to access care, please visit Right Care, Right Place - NHSGGC.

🔵 Want to quit **ng but no idea where to start?
🔵 Worried about a young person who vapes?
✅ If so, our new Va**ng Risks and Resources Pack is for you.

We’re living in an age where trends travel faster than facts and, much like sun beds and energy drinks before them, vapes have been cleverly marketed towards young people as fun and risk-free.

However, the reality is very different: Vapes are not risk-free and they’re definitely not for young people

That’s why NHSGGC’s has produced a new Va**ng Risks and Resources Pack. It contains information and links to verified sources of information on the dangers of va**ng and provides professional guidance for those looking to cut down or quit.

So, if you’re after the facts or want help to set a date for yourself or someone you know to cut-down or quit, download our new guide now for free by clicking this link: https://www.nhsggc.scot/downloads/va**ng-risks-and-resources-pack/
