We’re so excited to welcome our residents, families and friends to share some festive cheer with us at our Christmas Party! 🎅🤶

Enjoy live music, try your luck at our tombola, treat yourself at the bake sale, and don’t miss the chance to meet Santa and Mrs Claus 🎶🍰🎁

Every penny raised will go directly towards supporting activities within our home, helping us continue to create meaningful and joyful moments for our residents. ❤️

We had a truly lovely visit last week from the Brownies 💛🎄
They filled our home with festive cheer by singing beautiful Christmas songs and making handmade Christmas cards for our residents. The smiles, laughter and creativity shared were heartwarming to see 🤍✨

As a small thank you, our residents enjoyed handing out selection chocolate boxes to the Brownies, and they absolutely loved the whole experience. Moments like these mean so much to everyone here and really bring generations together 💕

On Friday, residents at The Argyle Care Home enjoyed a visit from some wonderful children from a local primary school ✨

The children performed songs and dances for the residents which everyone enjoyed. They then created artwork together, and spent time chatting with each other.

Such a lovely reminder of the joy that comes from connecting generations. ❤️🎄✨

Resident Spotlight - Ellen C 🌟

Ellen was born in Glasgow and grew up in a bustling home filled with the laughter and energy of her many brothers and sisters. Her family was wonderfully musical, and some of her happiest memories come from evenings spent gathered together, singing, dancing, and celebrating one another. Ellen carried that joy for music into her adult life, along with her passion for helping others. She became a primary school teacher, a role she cherished, and she is always happy to share fond stories from her younger days.

Today, Ellen continues to shine during any musical activity—her lovely singing voice and enthusiasm never fail to lift the spirits of everyone around her.

🍁✨ Thanksgiving came a little bit early to The Argyle Care Home this week! ✨🍁
We took celebrations into our own hands with some peaceful mindful colouring, sharing stories, and reminding each other of all the things we’re truly thankful for. 💛🧡

For Wisdom Wednesday, we asked staff and residents what they were grateful for — and their answers were absolutely heartwarming. 🥰
