Chef vacancy

Sadly one of our chefs is relocating out of county so we are now looking for a chef to come and join our team!

We are looking for someone with a positive outlook who has the skills and experience to deliver high quality meals for our residents using ingredients from our local suppliers to support our local community.

We are able to offer a positive work/ home life balance as well as a generous rate of pay.

I was so impressed to meet Sam Goldsworthy in Helston this week. Sam has only gone and won the National Homebased Childcare Awards as Childminder of the Year. And richly deserved too. There were 9 Regional winners, but our Sam won top prize😊.

It was also an honour that Early Education Minister, Olivia Bailey MP, invited me to join her on this visit.

We are desperately short of Childminders, and who are unsung heroes in the vitally important childcare environment. The pressures - especially financial pressures - they face have resulted in far too many giving up. Sam runs an exemplary service and trains and mentors other childminders.

A big thank you to all our staff working over the last few days. Being prepared in the lead up to storm Goretti, during those very windy hours and pulling together through the aftermath of challenging situations. Our fantastic team ensured that the service ran smoothly with little disruption to our residents. This would not have been possible without such an amazing team ❤️

Thank you also to all those people out there clearing the roads, working to get the power on and water again to all the houses and businesses and responding to emergencies throughout the county.
