Alternatives is a Pregnancy Crisis and Support Centre based in the heart of Watford. Our services include Pregnancy Crisis Support, Ongoing Pregnancy Support, Miscarriage Support, Post Abortion Support and Postnatal Depression Counselling. Our Mother & Baby Charity shop is based at:

As we wrap up 2025, we wanted to share some of our highlights as a charity!

This year, we celebrated our first birthday of our Baby Boutique in Watford, had a lovely team day and counselling team training day, hosted a fundraising golf day that raised a massive £3,500, attended 3 baby fairs, provided 73 baby baskets, 800 hours of listening and caring, and our outstanding volunteer Gill was awarded 'Volunteer of the Year'.

We are looking forward to the New Year and providing life-changing emotional and practical support to anyone facing pregnancy-related challenges 💜

As the Christmas period approaches, we want to share our closing hours with you all.

We will be closed from December 24th to January 2nd. Our last day open will be the 23rd, and we will reopen our doors on the 3rd January 2026!
