A Place of Recovery and Care
During the Second World War, Hendon Hall paused its life as a grand residence and became something deeply meaningful.
The building was used as an convalescent home, helping servicemen recover and regain strength after the war.
Long before it became a care home, people were already being cared for here. In many ways, the purpose of the building has come full circle.
Do you or your family have a connection to Hendon Hall during the war years? We would love to hear your story. Comment below.
