Our dementia community enjoyed a wonderful afternoon filled with music, laughter, and smiles as live entertainment lit up the lounge.

🎃 Halloween at Hendon Hall! 🎃

Our residents had a spooktacular time celebrating Halloween last week — complete with eerie canapés and some truly scary karaoke (and we’re not just talking about the singing! 👻🕷️)

There were some fang-tastic costumes on show too — our very own Simon transformed into the Mad Hatter, while Eleanor crept in as a giant octopus! ✨

It was wonderful to see both residents and team members getting into the spooky spirit and making it a Halloween to remember! 💜

✈️ A Day at the RAF Museum!

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic day out at the Royal Air Force Museum in Hendon, exploring the incredible history of aviation and the bravery of those who served.

From iconic aircraft displays to nostalgic stories from the wartime years, the visit sparked wonderful memories and plenty of conversation — with a few residents even sharing their own personal connections to the RAF.

We’ve swapped Purple 💜 for Green! 💚

We were delighted to welcome Jeremy, Club Secretary of Hendon FC, to Hendon Hall this week ⚽

Jeremy gave our residents a fascinating talk about the club’s history, community work, and life at Silver Jubilee Park — offering a wonderful insight into one of our proud local football clubs.

A huge thank you to Hendon FC for taking the time to visit us. We look forward to cheering the team on soon — and wish everyone at the club the very best for the rest of the season! 💚

🎀 Wear It Pink at Signature at Hendon Hall! 💗

Yesterday, we went from Purple to Pink! Our residents and team proudly took part in Breast Cancer Now’s “Wear It Pink” Day, joining thousands of others across the UK in raising awareness, donations and showing support for everyone affected by breast cancer.

💞 What is Wear It Pink?

Each year during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, people across the country wear pink to support Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity. The campaign helps fund vital research and support services, with the goal that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live — and live well.

Our home was full of colour, compassion, and community spirit today — all in pink! 💕

Signature at Hendon Hall was glowing with colour, music, and celebration as we marked the Festival of Lights. Our home was beautifully decorated, and residents enjoyed an incredible live performance from a Bollywood violinist and dancer— filling the afternoon with joy, rhythm, and sparkle. 💫🎶

🌹 An Afternoon with Lady Rose of Colmworth 🌹

We were truly honoured to welcome Vivien Rose, Lady Rose of Colmworth, who currently serves as a Justice of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, to Signature at Hendon Hall this week.

Lady Rose captivated our residents with stories from her remarkable career in law, her journey to the Supreme Court, and reflections on public service. The session sparked fascinating questions, thoughtful discussion, and plenty of admiration from everyone in the room.

A heartfelt thank you to Lady Rose for sharing her time and insights with us — it was a privilege to host such an inspiring guest. 💜

🚤✨ Our residents enjoyed a “Close Shave” this week!

We had the most wonderful time aboard Close Shave, a beautiful narrowboat cruising along the Grand Union Canal in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. With champagne flowing and a delicious afternoon tea to enjoy, it was the perfect day out on the water — laughter, great company, and stunning views all around. 🥂🫖💜
