Are you one of the women who has been asking for skincare advice lately? I’ve noticed it coming up on posts more and more…
“My skin looks dull.”
“How can I get rid of these lines”?
“I feel like I’ve aged overnight.”
“I don’t know where to start.”
“What are you using”?

And after years of working with women at different stages of life, I can honestly say this is one of the most common conversations I hear.

We’re all going to age. That part is unavoidable. But, how our skin feels and looks as we move through life is so often shaped by the small, consistent habits we’ve had along the way.

Skincare isn’t about fixing or chasing youth. It’s about prevention, care, and respect for something that protects us every single day. Your skin tells your story, your life but you don’t want it to give your age away 😉 when you’re tired, stressed, run down, or when life has been full, it’s written all over our faces.

So many women tell me they don’t have time, yet your skin is your largest organ, and it’s often the first thing people notice. Looking after it doesn’t need to be complicated or time-consuming, it just needs consistency.

The women who age well aren’t doing anything extreme.
They simply started earlier… and they stayed kind to their skin.
Oh and really you should be spending more on skincare than makeup as the better your skin is the better your makeup will be!

Sometimes, all it takes is a gentle reminder.

💛 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫

You know what I’m realising more and more is that our bodies actually tell us what they need and we’re just not always great at listening!

I go to the gym every morning. It’s just part of my routine as it sets me up for the day but this is my second morning of not going. Not because I can’t be bothered but because I’ve just felt so tired, slightly sore throat and just a bit ‘meh’ and so I’ve listened and not forced my way like so many do.

Yesterday I didn’t go to the gym OR take Budds out, my four legged boy and honestly, I felt tearful all day. No real reason. I don’t analyse, I just acknowledge and accept then move on. A bit of movement really is like medicine for me but it doesn’t always have to be the gym. This morning I took my doggie for a slightly longer walk instead — fresh air, slower pace, but still something for me.

Why do we feel like we have to keep going and going? What’s the worst that happens if we don’t? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Rest is good for us. Pausing is good for us.
And sometimes the kindest thing we can do is just listen to our bodies and say, “Alright, I hear you.”

So if you’re feeling the nudge to slow down… it really is okay. 💛

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞?

It’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. Isn’t it strange that the older we get — the more experienced, the more “seasoned” we are….the more our confidence starts to wobble? You’d think it would be the other way round. After all, we’re pros by now!

We’ve lived, learned, messed up, triumphed, survived… yet suddenly we question ourselves in ways we never used to.

I’ve felt it myself. The idea of running workshops again makes me nervous in a way it never did before. That little voice creeps in: Am I good enough? Will anyone want to listen? It’s like a quiet form of imposter syndrome that sneaks up on you when you’re not looking.

And it’s not just me. My mum was a phenomenal head chef and now she second-guesses herself cooking a simple meal. Ok, I know she’s a bit more ‘mature’ then midlife but still and then the other day, a former client told me she’s lost confidence too. I’m starting to see this pattern everywhere.

So why does this happen? And, more importantly… how do we get it back?

I don’t have all the answers but I wanted to open the conversation.
If this resonates, tell me ….where have you lost confidence in midlife, and how does it show up for you? And perhaps you can share what you are doing about it. 😃

If only we could see our own journeys the way others sometimes simplify them!

I didn’t wake up one morning and decide to collect ‘job titles’,
I just followed what felt right at each stage — starting as a beautician, becoming a makeup artist, training as a Master Image Coach, and later stepping into health and wellbeing. Each chapter built naturally on the last.

That’s the thing about life: we’re supposed to grow.
We’re supposed to change.
We’re supposed to try things, learn things, discover what fits and what doesn’t.

So no, I’m not a jack of all trades.
I’m someone who’s evolved — like we all do, and I love that my journey reflects 𝑒𝑥𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑙𝑦 that, I’ve done the work and my passion is to help others and has been for the past 25 years.

Here’s to letting ourselves become who we’re meant to be, one step at a time. ✨

your spark almost gone and it feels 💩 doesn’t it. The mood settles in, the confidence quietly slips away and you look in the mirror and think ‘where did I go?’

I see you. That woman who has spent years giving and nurturing others is now in this ‘in between’ space… you want to look and feel youthful and vibrant but unsure how to find her. None of this means ‘you’ve lost it’, it just is a wakeup call to say I’m still here!

Your spark hasn’t gone, it’s just waiting for you to take those steps into putting yourself first. Soften the pressure and stop trying to fix everything all at once. Focus on that one keystone habit that needs to break and you will create an incredible ripple effect through other areas… this will create space for you to grow your confidence, to become visible and be the youthful vibrant version of yourself!

What’s your hardest challenge to change right now?

When I was younger, I worked for my parents in their hotel. Christmas Day was full-on, busy, full of noise and festive cheer. After the last guest had left, the staff would all sit down together for our own Christmas lunch. Always chaotic and fun!!

Love everyone being around the table with a feast… it evokes memories and one I love is when I was really young, My dad would pour me the tiniest splash of red wine, then fill the rest of the glass with water so I felt all grown up. It was simple, it was special, and it’s stayed with me ever since.

Do you still do a Sunday family roast? I do and love it still…It’s the same feeling, except without the gifting of course! gathering everyone around the table, eating, chatting, connecting. It’s those little rituals that make life feel whole.

But every now and then, when I’ve worked in a pub on a Sunday, I’ve noticed how many families sit together… yet don’t really talk. Kids on devices, parents scrolling, the moment happening but not really shared. It’s sad, because I know how precious those mealtimes were for me growing up and the chatter going on around me but my sister and I were always included.

I suppose I just hope that one day we all come back to conversation, to connection, to looking up and being present with the people we love.
Because those are the moments we remember.
Those are the memories that stay.

My dad surrounded by staff and family ❤️

If you’re an independent beauty salon owner, a mobile hairdresser, Nutritionist or a therapist working for yourself, you’ll know this truth all too well:

You only earn when you’re with a client.
And there are only so many hours in a day.

But what if you could create an additional income stream that supports your existing business without needing more hands-on hours?

What if you could have a simple online storefront that sells products you trust… even while you’re with clients, out on the road, or having a well-earned evening to yourself?

And what if “network marketing” didn’t mean what you think it means?

Because…spoiler alert…
❌ It’s not a scam
❌ It’s not pushy
❌ It’s not about chasing friends
✔️ It is a smart, modern business model used by thousands of professionals to diversify their income
✔️ It does work beautifully alongside service-based beauty and wellness businesses

I’m hosting a free 30-minute Zoom call this Wednesday at 6:30pm to open up this conversation.
No pressure, no awkwardness, just an honest, clear look at how you can create a flexible secondary income stream that runs quietly alongside the work you already love.

If you’ve ever thought:
💭 “I wish I could earn more but I literally can’t squeeze in another client…”
Then this call is FOR YOU.

Drop a 💬 “I’m in” below or message me directly and I’ll send you the Zoom link.

Let’s help your business earn more — without you working more and please feel free to share this with others and i look forward to seeing you then.

Remember, Wednesday 26th November 6:30pm for 30 mins

Holidays are just perfect. Different environment, new sights & sounds which waken us up to being more present, relaxed and enjoyment but the moment you step through the front door auto-pilot kicks in… laundry, chores, responsibilities, work, to-do lists and more, the holiday headspace is completely replaced by the usual mental load…argh…

A holiday gives us a reset that’s needed but when you get back, nothing in reality has changed, that’s what our brain recognises hence the feeling the holiday vanishes as soon as you walk in the door.

When away we get to truly meet our needs which we definitely don’t do enough of at home… rest, sleep, sunlight, freedom, laugh, dance and be present so remember, bring some of the holiday mindset home with you.

Some ideas:
A certain scent
Slow relaxed coffee morning
Early morning walk
Tech free evening
Don’t rush from task to task
Try a new cafe for lunch
Cook something you loved
Moisturise your body daily
Book something to look forward too
Breathe

The holiday you still exists inside of you, you just need to entice her out a little more often ☀️

W𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝….

Oh that feeling, you know the one, where it’s your first time lying in the sun on holiday… utter bliss.

Feeling the warmth of the sun on my face & body, letting all the worries float away and leaving calm in its place. Hearing the sounds around restoring peace, the birds singing, the sea ‘roaring’, the palms swaying.. it’s super breezy and the sky is grey but it’s so warm, infact it is just perfect.

All we need is time to step off the world every now and then. Reflect on what we actually have in our lives and if we haven’t got what we want, then it’s the perfect time to plan and ask ourselves ‘how’.

When you feel at peace, ideas float into your mind, some pass on by, some will stick… you will know what is right for you.

Hua Hin in Thailand is where I’m ‘penning’ this. This is taken from my journal… something I never do but I’m lying here smiling, feeling happy and at peace for the first time in a long time.

Fallen right back into family life with my (estranged) hubby but that is always so easy to do. Being brutally honest if it wasn’t for him or our relationship now, these holidays for me wouldn’t happen and I am eternally grateful for how we have navigated our lives together and apart.
