Bindu joined the team in spring 2021. She is a Clinical Podiatrist with a specialist interest in nail surgery. Essentially, Bindu can help you with any skin and nail issues ranging from hard skin and corns to verrucas and ingrown nail surgery!

Bindu graduated from the University of Northampton with a Bsc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine in 2007. She spent years practicing in Central London in both the NHS and private practice before joining the team here at Henley Podiatry.

Having been a Clinical Educator at the University of East London training Podiatry students, she developed a specialist interest in nail surgery and diabetes.

Bindu is a dedicated healthcare professional known for her expertise and compassionate approach to Podiatric care. With a strong commitment to patient wellbeing, she combines her technical skills with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in her clients lives.

Outside of work, Bindu enjoys spending quality time with her young family, creating cherished moments together.

Meet Sarah one of our Musculoskeletal Podiatrists!

Sarah joined the team in July 2024 with her strong focus on sports and rehabilitation. Sarah has a keen interest in barefoot shoes and lifestyle.

Sarah studied podiatry at the University of East London and now also works part-time in the NHS, where she provides a wide range of Podiatric treatments to support diverse patient needs.

Sarah is particularly passionate about sports related injuries and supporting active clients who are eager to return to or exceed their pre-injury levels. She tailors her treatment plans to each individual, integrating exercise rehabilitation to not only aid recovery but also to build long term strength and resilience. Sarah believes empowering her clients through education and carefully designed exercises, ensuring they feel confident both in their recovery and future performance.

Sarah’s holistic approach considers each clients overall lifestyle, goals and activity levels, ensuring a personalised treatment plan that aligns with their unique needs. Her goal is to help each client not only heal but to thrive - achieving new milestones and building confidence along the way.

We are excited to welcome Vicky as our new Clinical Lead Podiatrist!

Vicky joined the team in September and is now fully in the swing of all things client and staff related!

With over 20 years experience in the field, Vicky brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, particularly in musculoskeletal podiatry and nail surgery.

Vicky has a specialist interest in biomechanics and MSK injuries, focusing on not only treating the immediate issue but also identifying and addressing the root cause to prevent future recurrence.

Outside of the clinic, Vicky is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys walking, cycling and wild swimming. She loves spending time with her family and dog in her VW caller, often found exploring the countryside!

Did you know that warts and verruca are caused by HPV - a viral infection of the skin that can quickly spread between family members?

Did you know that the best way to treat verruca is by using the body’s own immune response?

Swift microwave therapy is a ground breaking treatment that effectively treats stubborn warts and verrucae. Verruca, caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) are located on the outside of the skin making them hard for your immune system to neutralise. We're pleased to announce that we now have Diagnostic Ultrasound in clinic!

What is diagnostic ultrasound?

Diagnostic ultrasound can be used by our specialist MSK team to examine and view internal structures of the foot and ankle such as bone, ligaments, and tendons. We aim to find the source of your problem, and discuss an effective treatment plan.

How does it work?

We use a probe that emits sound waves into your body, similar to pregnancy ultrasound. Waves of ultrasound are then converted into an image to allow us to see superficial structures within the foot and ankle.

What is ultrasound used for in Podiatry?

Ultrasound is a safe way and effective way to assess injury to muscle or tendons within your foot and ankle.

Diagnostic ultrasound can also be used guide injections to reduce pain and to guide local anaesthesia injections during minor surgical procedures.

Your heels are the unsung heroes of your feet, rarely getting credit and attention for all the hard work they do. Think about it: your heels take a lot of pounding day after day.

For most people, the heels are the first part of the foot that makes contact with the ground when walking or running. And that means they are subjected to a lot of repetitive force. Plus, your heels provide the 'connection' between your lower leg and your foot, so they get a lot of stress and strain whenever you stretch or flex your calves (so every time you take a step).

Because they take the brunt of so much force and strain, it's no surprise that heel pain is a common complaint among women and men, especially those who lead very active lives.

Fortunately, even though they take a lot of punishment, heels tend to be pretty resilient too.
