Friar park tree services is a fully insured, experienced and qualified tree surgery company with a safe and professional approach to all aspects of tree surgery and hedge cutting work. The company was founded by Mark Lovejoy who has worked in arboriculture since 1998 and started Friar Park Tree Services in 2001. All operatives are NPTC qualified and experienced in both domestic and commercial arboriculture. We pride ourselves in doing consistent quality work, from the smallest to the largest of trees. We aim to recycle all waste where possible. Our pricing is competitive, and our advice and quotations cost nothing. We are fully insured and offer the highest quality tree care.

It has been bought to my attention by a number of my clients, that a man is knocking on doors around Henley and Shiplake and asking people if they want their trees pruned or hedges trimmed.
A number of my clients have had this happen to them and have told him that I do their work, they have often used my name or my company name in conversation. He then claims that I have sent him there and is in fact my brother or cousin.
In other circumstances he has engaged them in a longer conversation in order to get information, particularly my name or company name before claiming to be my relative. He’s very convincing and obviously well practiced.
This is of course all lies, it’s unlikely that this is only happening to me and I strongly suspect that he will claim to be related to anybody or linked to any company in order to get his money.
He only accepts cash and his standard of work is questionable at best.

I would urge anybody who has someone knock on their door offering to do work to be extremely cautious.

If you’re not expecting us, it’s not me or my representative at your door.
