My husband is home and now on the mend.
Pete was given a trial drug at the JR to stop his brain from swelling, he had a fractured skull and 4 bleeds to the brain just 3 weeks ago. The drug has only been tested on 10 people world wide and never at the JR, on day 2 the swelling had subsided when it should continue to swell, the nurses were skipping around Neuro ICU.
Pete is now home with nurse Caroline despite being told he might not make it, thank god I have him back with me 💙🙏🏼
