Www.cyclecatalan.com continued. Through the region of La Garrotxa known for its goat’s milk cheese and a huge natural park with many extinct volcanic cones. Then on an amazing day of downhill as we continue on the old railway line, nearly 30 miles of blissful coasting. Coming into the medieval city of Girona through beautiful tranquil plains and allotments with the cathedral majestically dominating the skyline. City walls and narrow passages to walk along and some film settings from Game of Thrones. Loving Catalan with its incredibly strong, proud sense of Independence!

Breaking free! At last we are on an adventure. Fabulous day cycling along tree lined quiet roads with autumn colours and scented pines. With the mighty pyrenees in the backdrop - amazing how alpine like this part of Spain is, complete with clanging cowbells breaking the stillness of the warm, sunny day. A steady easy climb along an old railway route followed by a never ending descent freewheeling all the way! Fabulous boutique hotels in medieval buildings and of course log fires and a well earned delicious meal with a glass or two. A great 1st day on our www.cyclecatalan.com holiday. Hi everyone, after 3 glorious years of running Confident Ewe I am sorry to say that we will not be operating anymore. Life changes and we have moved to Wales, so a new adventure starts. I have had a real hoot meeting all the lovely ladies who have joined an adventure or sought guidance. Thank you all.
I am focusing on my own personal development. Starting with a 26 mile charity walk, Thames Path Mighty Hike for Macmillan Cancer Support on 17 July. This women's mini adventure break 23-26 Apr is based in a lovely forest cottage located in Snowdonia National Park with its fabulous mountain ranges, home to Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), 1085m high, the tallest mountain in England and Wales.
