Important Business Update:
Due to the price of petrol in Hereford reaching record highs, I have officially sold the Tea and Tech car. Starting Monday, all home visits will be conducted via my new company vehicle: a Shetland pony named 'Gigabyte.'
Please ensure there is a bucket of water and a carrot waiting at your front door for all appointments.
Note: Home visits may now take 3-5 working days longer depending on how many grassy verges we encounter on the way.

Help Needed: Tech Donation Appeal 📣

I'm looking for a spare Windows 10 PC for a local elderly customer in need. He’s currently without a working computer and unable to replace it.
I will be donating my time to refurbish the machine, including a brand-new hard drive, so you can rest assured that your old data is completely gone and the new system is 100% secure.

If you have a PC you no longer use and would like to see it go to a good home, please get in touch! Maybe you've recently updated your PC to a Windows 11 machine, any PC would be gratefully accepted 🙏

Every Wednesday 9:30-12:30 at Much Birch Community Hall (The Maple Room), Much Birch, Hereford HR2 8HT (Next to the Dr's Surgery)
Just bring in your troublesome devices and I will either diagnose and fix on the spot, or arrange to take it away (or come to you) to repair.
• Drop in session, no need to book
• Bring along your laptop/phone/printer etc...
• Diagnose and repair small issues
• Bigger issue; leave device with me for repair
• Advice, support and training
£10 per small fix. Bigger jobs can be booked in
(to be discussed at the time and repaired later).
Just like my one-to-one sessions or workshops, it'll all be very relaxed with no mumbo-jumbo techy-speak. Just turn up and I'll take a look.
There will also be tea/coffee and posh biscuits 😋

"Ever wondered what a typical day looks like for your local techy, Richard? Well, it's rarely typical!
One minute I'm helping Mrs. Henderson in Ross-on-Wye get her new smart TV talking to her Wi-Fi, the next I'm rescuing precious photos from a poorly laptop in Ledbury. Every call is a new puzzle (I often think of my role as part detective, part techy and part counsellor!), but the best part is always seeing that sigh of relief when a problem is solved.
It's more than just fixing gadgets and teaching; it's about making technology a friend, not a foe.
